A Hershey Bar for Someone Special

We all have someone special we want to remember at Valentines be it mom, dad, that special someone, a co-worker, neighbor, child.  Well, I could go on and on.  And everyone loves a Hershey bar.  Ah, a perfect match.  I decided to dress up the Hershey bars for Valentine's Day.

Valentine Hershey barsThe measurements for the cardstock are 5 1/2 X 6 and scoring on the 5 1/2 inch side at 1 3/4, 2, 4 1/4, and 4 1/2.  I used Crumb Cake cardstock.

For the Earth Hershey bar, I began by embossing with the World Traveler folder.  It's a little hard to see.  I did have about a half inch of extra space at the top and the bottom.  Put our Tear & Tape along one side.  Place the Hershey bar inside and then adhere to fit.

Love that suite in the new Occasions catalog.  I used the Timeless Textures set to stamp a little background on the heart.  I used Mossy Meadow for all of this, but be sure to stamp off the background texture stamp.  I actually stamped it off 2 times.  You want to be able to see the sentiment.  The heart was also attached with dimensionals.

To finish it off, I tied Mossy Meadow 5/8 inch Striped Cotton Ribbon around the top and tied a knot.

For the flower bar, I started off stamping a background on the Crumb Cake cardstock using the Timeless Textures set and white Craft Stampin' Ink.  You will need to let this dry just a little and then put the paper around your Hershey bar.  I punched a 1 1/4 inch circle from the Timeless Elegance Designer Series Paper.

I cut an oval with the XL Oval punch out of Very Vanilla cardstock and embossed it with the Happy Heart embossing folder.  I stamped the sentiment on this using the Floral Wings stamp set and  the Timeless Elegance patterned paper.  I punched it out with the Sweetheart punch. This went on using dimensionals.

You just might know the perfect someone for one of these gifts!  Thanks and I hope to see you on Friday!
