Inked & Tiled for the Tutorial Medley Group

I belong to a private Facebook group of about 16 SU demonstrators. Each month we design 1 card and tutorial to add to the group. These are then compiled. We can use these as we wish. These demonstrators are located across the USA and Canada. I choose to share my large tutorial with my Luv 2 Create team and with my customers. I love being able to share these.

This is the card that I created for August. I used the Inked & Tiled stamp set from the annual catalog. There is a little fussy cutting, but it's easy cutting.

Inked & Tiled and the 2023-2025 In Color 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper Stack

I hope this post finds you well. I also hope that you find time in your busy world to stamp. For me, stamping is my happy place. Today I'm sharing the Inked & Tiled stamp set with Pebbled Path and Boho Blue, 2 of our new In Colors.

I needed a card that didn't take a lot of time. I'm sure this happens to you as well. This card fits the bill. The base is Pebbled Path cut to 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 and folded at 4 1/4.

The Boho Blue layer is measures 4 1/8 x 5 3/8.

The white layer is 3 7/8 x 5 1/8. Add to the left of this paper a piece of Pebbled Path that is 1 1/2 x 5 1/8. Over the right of that paper, add a 1/4 inch piece of Boho Blue designer paper from the same 2023-2025 In Color 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper. I suggest that you add the designer paper to the white BEFORE you add that layer to the card front.

We are going to add color to the stamp from Inkded and Tiled by using the Stampin' Write Markers directly on the stamp. Use the larger end of the marker on the stamp. Color by using the side of the marker so that you don't ruin the point of the marker. Use Boho Blue for the flowers and Pebbled Path for the stems and leaves. When done coloring huff on the stamp to add a little moisture and stamp.

Stamp the saying from Inked & Tiled in Pebbled Path.

I used the 2023-2025 In Color Jute Trim for my bow. I pulled apart the strands, and then tied my bow. Add it with a glue dot.

Embellish the card with the Adhesive-Backed Solid Gems.

Here's the inside of my card. My Pebbled Path ink pad is very juicy so I stamped off the leaf stamp from Inked & Tiled. For the other stamp, color directly on the stamp with Stampin' Write Markers.

Paper Florist Dies in the Annual Catalog

The Paper Florist dies are in the back of the Stampin' Up! annual catalog. They do not go with a certain stamp set. They stand alone. You'll find them on page 165. For those of us who love flowers, this is a must have die set. The possibilities are infinite. Today I share a simple card using the dies, but let me tell you, you can get as intricate as you wish.

The base of this card is Thick Basic White 5 1/2 x 8 1/2, score and fold at 4 1/4. Use a Bone Folder.

The patterned paper is from the Brights 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper Stack. I'm using Berry Burst. Cut this paper 2 x 5 1/2. You'll need a piece of Berry Burst cardstock that is 1 x 5 1/2. Cut across the top of this long piece with the zig zag die from the Basics Borders dies. Glue this to the top of the dotted paper. Not glue this paper to the bottom of the front of the card. Now it could happen that your cardstock could be a little short or your designer paper could be a little long. In other words a little trim might be needed.

The pannel for the card is cut from Basic White using the Nested Essentials dies. This is another set that is not associated with a certain stamp set. Find it in the back of the annual catalog on page 165 as well. The stamp set used here is called Hope You Know. I love this saying when you pair it with the one on the inside of the card. Stamp in Berry Burst.

The die for the flowers actually cuts out 4 pieces at once. You get 2 large and 2 small pieces. I needed to cut this out 2 times because I wanted 2 of each flower and it takes 2 pieces to make a flower. Does that make sense? First of all use the Berry Burst pad and a Blending Brush to add some color to the ends of the petals. Use a Bone Folder to curl all of the petals. Hint: I did not curl the petals for one of the large flowers. It will go inside the card and will need to be flat. I used a glue dot to add 2 large petals offset together. Repeat for 1 more flat large flower and for the 2 small flowers.

Cut Basic Black centers (4) for all the flowers.

Glue the flowers to the card.

Cut 4 leaves using the Paper Florist dies and Brights DSP. I used Lemon Lime Twist. One leaf goes inside.

Darling Details Bundle and the In Color Treat Bags

Today I'm just touching the surface of how wonderful the Darling Details dies will be to your stamping. It's not just another flower die. There are beautiful lace frames. You can find the dies along with the Darling Details stamp set on page 68 of the annual catalog. Here's my card.

My base is the new Pebbled Path card stock. It measures 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 and is folded at 4 1/4. Emboss the front of the card with the new Twisted Rope 3D Embossing Folder.

For the panel in the front cut up a Pebbled Path 2023-2024 In Color Treat Bag to 3 x 4 1/4. Cut a piece of Boho Blue card stock to 3 1/4 x 4 1/2. As I write down this measurement it occurs to me that by altering the measurements you could save on paper. If you use a piece of the bag that is cut to 2 3/4 x 4 and the Boho at 3 x 4 1/4, you'll be able to get more out of the Boho. Your panel will be a quarter inch smaller. It will help if you are making multiples. You should also be able to get two panels out of a bag.

For this card, you'll need 3 of the large blue flowers (one for inside). The outline stamp is Misty Moonlight and the inside is Boho Blue. Stamp all the images for the front on Basic White. The smaller flowers are outlined with Moody Mauve. The insides of the flower are Bubble Bath. It's one of the new colors. You'll need 3 of these flowers. The leaves are outlined in Granny Apple Green and filled in with Parakeet Party. You'll need 4 of the leaves (one for inside). Cut all of these out with the Darling Details dies. I did cut the leaves apart with 2 leaves together and 1 alone.

Arrange the flowers. I did put everything on dimensionals. For the leaves I put a glue dot at the base of the leaves and dimensionals further out.

Tie a bow with the Bubble Bath ribbon from the Sheer Ribbon Combo Pack. Add with glue dots.

Stamp the saying from the Darling Details stamp set in Pebbled Path. Just to let you know that purchasing the bundle saves 10%. Fussy cut the saying and add to the card.

Isn't this inside cute! Cut a strip of the bag. This one turned out to be 5/8 wide, but I was just working with a scrap that was left. It's 4 1/4 inches long. Add the left over flower and leaves. The saying is from Darling Details.

In Color Pebbled Path with Cheerful Daisies

This week I have featured the Cheerful Daisies Bundle. Today I'm also exploring the new In Color Pebbled Path. This is a very interesting color almost between a gray and a brown. Our daisies look great with it.

Don't you just love the print of the designer paper? This paper is from the 2023-2025 In Color 6 x 6 Paper Stack. I love the circles!

The base is Pebbled Path cut to 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 and folded at 4 1/4. I used the outline smaller daisy to stamp randomly over the card. I did stamp off to get a little lighter image. My new pad is super juicy!

Cut a piece of Lemon-Lime Twist cardstock to 2 1/8 x 5 1/2. Cut the designer paper to 2 x 5 1/2. Adhere the two. Add to the left side of the card front.

Cut a piece of Basic White cardstock with the 3rd die in from the Scalloped Contours dies. Stamp off the half flowers and the smaller daisy and add to the panel. Stamp the centers in Lemon-Lime Twist. Add in the stem at the bottom and some leaves. I didn't really worry about whether the top daisies had stems showing.

Stamp the saying from Lasting Joy in Pebbled Path ink. Trim closely and glue across the bottom of the panel.

Cut the Pebbled Path Textured Ribbon in half lengthwize. Tie it around the panel in a knot. Trim the ends. Color some of the Basic Rhinestones with a Dark Pebbled Path Blend to add to the card.

The saying for the inside is also from the Lasting Joy stamp set. Stamp off and add the half daisies in some of the corners. Add the centers and a few leaves around.
