Hello to you today. I'm going to share a card using the stamp set Positive Thoughts. It's in the January-June Mini Catalog. Until the end of March, it also has a set of coordinating dies called Nature's Thoughts. These dies are part of the limited time Coordination Product Release.
I'm going to admit right up front that this card got a little busy. Do you ever find that you just can't stop? That happens to me.
I started with a card base of Thick Whisper White that is 5 1/2 x 8 1/2. Score and fold at 4 1/4.
The patterned paper is from the Magnolia Lane Designer Series Paper. Cut to fit the front of the card. That's 4 1/4 x 5 1/2. Stamp around the edges of this layer with the flower stamp from Positive Thoughts. I stamped in Petal Pink. Glue to the card base.
The Nature's Thoughts dies have a cool rectangle die with cute little dots all around the outer edges. That's what I used for the layer in the center of the card. Cut from Whisper White. Stamp the leaf stem in Garden Green on this layer from lower left toward upper right.
I stamped the saying on a piece of white 3/4 x 2 7/8 in Garden Green. Glue to the top of the rectangle. If you are really good, just go ahead and stamp the saying directly on the rectangle. Sometimes I tend to make thinks harder than they need to be.
On Whisper White, stamp the leaf stems 2 times and the flower 4 times. For the flower, ink in Petal Pink. With a sponge dauber add some Blushing Bride ink directly to the stamp already stamped in Petal Pink. Just add the color here and there and then stamp on the paper. Cut all of these out with the Nature's Thoughts dies.
Cut some of the smaller leaf stems in Garden Green card stock.
Now the task is to assemble all the parts on the front of the card. Use glue and dimensionals.
For the inside of the card, the saying is from Positive Thoughts. Stamp another large leaf stem. Glue a flower to the inside.
This is a great stamp set. Just look on Pinterest. There are so many ideas. If I can help you get this set and the coordinating Nature's Thoughts dies, please let me know. The dies are while supplies last or to the end of March.
