Hello to you!  I featured the Ombre Gift Bags on my Facebook Live this past Wednesday.  I have my Lives on Wednesdays at 4:00 ET on my business page here.  I would love for you to follow me there!  Should you miss me Live, it will be there on my page or it will make it to my YouTube channel.  You can find that  here.  I would love for you to subscribe to my channel and ring the bell to get notifications.  I have over 130 videos there.  Of course I'll have the video right here on this post.

Here are the projects we made this week.

Ombre Gift Bag Duo by Jo Anne Hewins

I'm using the Pale Papaya bags for these cards, but let me tell you about the Ombre Gift Bags.  You get 20 bags for $6.  The come in all of the new In Colors Pale Papaya, Fresh Freesia, Evening Evergreen, Polished Pink, and Soft Succulent.  They are great for packaging or adding a little extra to special cards.

Ombre Bags and Plenty of Patterns Masks by Jo Anne Hewins

For this bag I used the Plenty of Patterns Decorative Masks and a Blending Brush to add more Pale Papaya ink to the bag.  The ribbon used is from the Flowers for Every Season Combo Pack.  To finish the bag use the Hand-Penned Memories and More Card Pack.  The sticker is also from the pack.

Ombre Bags and Hand-Penned Cards and Envelopes by Jo Anne Hewins

Inside the bag I used the Hand-Penned Memories and More Cards and Envelopes.  These are a real bargain.  You get 20 of these for $10.  Wow!  I turned the card inside out and used the white for the front.  I used the decorative masks again over the front.  The Pale Papaya layer is 4 1/4 x 6 1/4.  Now add another of the Memories and More cards and a sticker.  I love how the Cards and Envelopes fit right inside the bags.  It just makes everything a little more special.

Here is the inside of the card.  Add a piece of Hand-Penned Designer Series Paper cut to 4 x 6.  Add more sticker from the card pack.

Ombre Gift Bag with Tailor Made Tags by Jo Anne Hewins

Here is the second bag we decorated.  Again I used the Plenty of Patterns masks.  The tags are cut from the Hand-Penned designer paper using the Tailor Made Tags dies.  These are a stand alone set of dies.  They are really going to be a staple for my card making.  I used the Pale Papaya In Color Ribbon as well.  For the saying, it's stamped in Misty Moonlight.  The stamp is from the Shaded Summer stamp set and is cut out using the Tasteful Labels dies.  Tags and the saying are added with dimensionals.

Ombre Bags Inside Card by Jo Anne Hewins

This is the card inside the card.  The base is Soft Succulent measuring 4 1/2 x 11 and scored at 5 1/2.  Use the decorative masks with Soft Succulent ink and a Blending Brush.  The label is cut from Basic White using the Scalloped Contours dies.  The saying is from the Welcoming Window stamp set.  The flower, from the Hand-Penned Petals stamp set, is stamped and colored using the Pale Papaya, Soft Succulent, and Daffodil Delight Blends Combo packs.  Cut with the Penned Flowers dies.

I think this gives you any information you might need.  Here's the video!

Garden Birdhouses So Cute!

Hello to you!  I have a card for you today using the Garden Birdhouses stamp set.  This is such a cute set.  You can find it on page 107.  This card is part of the Create with Connie and Mary Thursday Challenge #669 using Cinnamon Cider, Pale Papaya, and Mint Macaron.

CCMC669

These are pretty colors, but I wouldn't have put them together.  Turns out that it definitely works.  Here is my card.

CCMC#669 Garden Wishes by Jo Anne Hewins

My card base is Mint Macaron measuring 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 and folded at 4 1/4.

The Cinnamon Cider layer is 3 7/8 x 5 1/8.

The designer paper is from the Hand-Penned Designer Series Paper.  It's cut to 3 3/4 x 5.

Stamp the branches directly on the designer paper in Cinnamon Cider ink.  One branch comes in from the left of the card, one in from the upper left corner, and the other in from the top.  Color in the leaves in Dark Mint Macaron.  Since these inks aren't really made for each other, I tried not to color over the Cinnamon Cider with the green.

To stamp the cord for the birdhouse, stamp once from the branch, but mask off the round part on the bottom.  Now stamp again with the whole stamp.  This allows the birdhouse to hang a little lower.

At first I stamped the saying directly onto the designer paper.  Then I thought the card probably needed a little bit more.  I cut out the sentiment with the circle from the Tasteful Labels dies.  Cut a circle from Cinnamon Cider with the Layering Circles dies.  Add the circle over the hole and add the sentiment with dimensionals.  Stamp a bird in Memento Black and color with the Pale Papaya Combo Blends.  Fussy cut and add the bird just over the words.

Stamp the birdhouse on a scrap of Basic White in Memento Black.  Color in the house with Pale Papaya blends and Cinnamon Cider Combo Blends.  Fussy cut and add to the card with dimensionals.  Add another bird stamped, colored, and cut out so that it faces the first bird.

CCMC#669 Garden Wishes Inside by Jo Anne Hewins

For the inside, stamp the post in Cinnamon Cider and color in with blends.  I stamped the house and bird on scrap paper, colored, and cut out.  Add to the post.  The flowers are stamped in Memento Black and colored with Mini Macaron Combo Blends and the Pale Papaya blends.  The saying is from Garden Birdhouses.  It's stamped in Cinnamon Cider.

Pansy Dies Fun Fold

Today I want to share a fun fold card we made in one of my classes.  It uses the Pansy Petals Designer Series Paper and the Pansy dies.  This is such pretty paper for flower lovers.  I love all the colors.  Here is the card we made.

Pansy Patch Fun Fold Closed by Jo Anne Hewins

This is the card opened.

Pansy Patch Fun Fold Standing Card by Jo Anne Hewins

Start with a card base of Soft Succulent cut to 5 1/2 x 8 1/2.  Score at 2 1/8 and 4 1/4.  Burnish the fold at the half of the card and then the small section is folded down toward the inside of the card.

Attach the Pansy paper to the two front sections.  They will both measure 2 x 5 3/8.  I chose to use the Soft Succulent gingham and the green stripe so that my pansy is the star of the show.

Build the pansy on a layer of Basic White cut using the 3rd largest rectangle from the Scalloped Contours dies.  How did I ever stamp without those dies?  For the pansy I used Blackberry Bliss, Fresh Freesia, Basic White, Daffodil Delight, and Evening Evergreen card stocks.  I did use a sponge dauber and Blackberry Bliss ink to add some color to the freesia petals.  Add a bloom to the side using card stock and dies.  NOTE:  For the tiny pieces of the flower in Blackberry Bliss, cover the back of the card stock with Adhesive Sheets and then cut.  This turns these pieces into stickers!

The saying is stamped in Blackberry Bliss and is from the Pansy Patch stamp set.

When you glue the white layer, you'll only put adhesive on half of it.  Be very careful.

Pansy Patch Fun Fold Inside by Jo Anne Hewins

For the inside of the card, the Basic White layer measures 2 3/8 x 5 3/8.  Stamp the saying from Pansy Patch in Blackberry Bliss.  The small pansy designer paper is 1 3/4 x 5 3/8.

Make another pansy flower bud with the dies and card stock.  Place this one in the lower right corner of the pansy paper with a dimensional.  Use this flower to hold the folded card front to display the card.

Facebook Live for 6.9.2021 Biggest Wish and the Stamparatus

Happy Friday!  Today I have a post for my Facebook Live from Wednesday.  We used the Biggest Wish stamp set with the Stamparatus to make a couple cute cards.

Biggest Wishes by Jo Anne Hewins

I'm happy to share these cards with you.  In fact the masculine card was already shared with you on Thursday's post with the One Stamp at a Time Blog Hop.  I have the card with a coordinating Mini Paper Pumpkin Box.  You can find the details for the card by clicking here.

OSAT for June Masculine Card and Box by Jo Anne Hewins

Here is a picture of the pair.  The papers used are from the Bloom Where You're Planted Designer Series Paper and the Pattern Party Host Designer Series Paper.

Biggest Wish in Gorgeous Grape by Jo Anne Hewins

This card uses the Stamparatus a little differently than you might use it.

The base of the card is Gorgeous Grape 5 1/2 x 8 1/2, scored and folded at 4 1/4.

The Basic White layer is 4 x 5 1/4.  Stamp the word HELLO in Gorgeous Grape over the card in random places.  I did use the Stamparatus so that I could stamp again if needed.  Remember to go off the edges in places.

When done set up the stencil from the Plenty of Patterns Decorative Masks.  Place so that the entire white layer is covered.  Use Highland Heather ink and a Blending Brush to add color.

Biggest Wishes Close Up by Jo Anne Hewins

Use the second largest decorative end tag from the Tailor Made Tag dies.  Cut one in Basic White and another in Gorgeous Grape.  On the white tag, stamp the HELLO in Highland Heather and the friend in Gorgeous Grape.  Add a few of the Elegant Faceted Gems colored with the Dark Highland Heather blend.

Layer the two tags together and add with dimensionals.  Make a circle to add to the tag using the dies.  I used Gorgeous Grape and put some of the Adhesive Sheets behind.  This way it turns into a sticker and is very easy to add to the tag.

The bow is made from the white ribbon in the Flowers for Every Season Ribbon Pack.

Here is the Facebook Live video.  If you enjoy this video please share and subscribe to my YouTube channel.  I would appreciate it so much.

If you need any supplies, I would love to earn your business.  Orders of $50 or more using the Host Code 43CEPHZZ will get a PDF emailed to them with at least 15 card ideas that I haven't used before.  All supplies used will be current!  Tutorials will be emailed after the 15th of the month.

One Stamp at a Time Blog Hop for June Boys in the Hood

Welcome to the One Stamp at a Time Blog Hop for June.  Our theme is Boys in the Hood.  That means it's all for the guys!  I'm afraid guys don't get the time they might deserve in this card making thing.  I admit that I have a hard time with it.  Just give me flowers!

May be an image of flower and text that says 'OSAT ONE STAMP AT A TIME BLOG HOP'

I'm glad you are here and I did come up with a card and box that I think are just the thing.  I'm using the Biggest Wish stamp set and the Bloom Where You're Planted Designer Series Paper.  I've also added in a few other products.  Let's go!

OSAT for June Masculine Card by Jo Anne Hewins

I think the Biggest Wish stamp set and the Stamparatus are a great couple.

My base is Basic Black measuring 5 1/2 x 8 1/2, scored and folded at 4 1/4.

Cut a piece of the wood grain paper from Bloom Where You're Planted that is 4 x 5 1/4.

Set up the Stamparatus to stamp right on this designer paper.  The HAPPY will need to be places between two of the hinges near the top of the paper.  Start at the top and stamp with Cinnamon Cider ink.  I did need to ink more than once.  Pull up the plastic plate and attach again at the  groove below as you go along.  Make sure that your placement of the word HAPPY allows you room to have the word birthday.

To stamp the word birthday, make sure to rub over the already stamped HAPPY with an Embossing Buddy or a used dryer sheet to remove static.  Stampin' Up! no longer sells the embossing buddy, but you might still have one.  Place the birthday stamp on the other side of the plastic plate already used.  Stamp with Versamark.  In the beginning I did one word at a time stamping, adding black embossing powder, heating, and repeating.  I did the last two words at the same time.  I think you can do what is comfortable for you.  Do emboss each word with black embossing powder from the Basics Stampin' Emboss Powders.  This package contains white, black, and clear powders.

Add a piece of the brick paper from the Bloom Where You're Planted DSP that is 3/4 x 5 1/4 on the left side of the card.  Add a piece of Basic Black that is 1/4 x 5 1/4.

OSAT for June masculine card close up by Jo Anne Hewins

I love that these stamps can be stamped opposite from each other.  On the tags I stamped BIRTHDAY in the large letters in Cinnamon Cider and then embossed the happy in black.  Stamp these on the brick patterned paper.

Cut the tag with the second largest of the Tailored Made Tags dies.  I used the more plain tags.  These dies also have dies to add around the hole in the tag.  I love that look!

Cut an additional tag from the black and white check from the Pattern Party Designer Series Paper.

Add these together with the black twine from the Baker's Twine Essentials Pack.  Add tags to the card with dimensionals.

Finish off the card with the Matte Black Dots.

OSAT for June Masculine Mini Paper Pumpkin Box by Jo Anne Hewins

For my 3D project, I used the Mini Paper Pumpkin Box.  I filled it with Tootsie Rolls.  They are one of my husband's favorites.

The top of the box has a layer of the black and white check measuring 3 5/8 x 5 1/2.  Add a piece of the brick paper that measures 2 x 3 5/8 and another 1/4 inch strip of Basic Black.

Make the tag in the same way with the wood print designer paper.  Add to the card with dimensionals.

Add the Matte Black Dots.

I did decorate the sides of the box with the brick paper.  You need 2 that are 7/8 x 3 5/8 and two that are 7/8 x 5 5/8.
