Abundant Beauty Masks for a Fall Card

Paper Florist Dies Fall Card with the All About Fall Designer Series Paper

I wish I could get everything from the September-December Mini, but I just can't.  I'll bet you experience the same thing.  I love the Autumn Leaves bundle, but it just wasn't in my budget.  I wanted to make a fall card, so I started looking at the products that I do have.  I found the perfect leaf in the Paper Florist dies.  That is a set of dies that stands alone in the back of the annual catalog.  It does not have a stamp set with it.  I'll be using one of the leaf dies from this set.

The base of this card is Thick Basic White.  It's cut 4 1/4 x 11, score and fold at 5 1/2.  This woodgrain paper is from the All About Autumn 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper from the new mini.  All of the products from the mini are available for everyone as of September 6th!  Add a sheet of the paper cut to 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 to the front of the card.  I like to use the Multipurpose Glue because it gives you a few seconds to get it just perfect.

Cut leaves from Pumpkin Pie, Old Olive, Copper Clay, Crushed Curry, and Cherry Cobbler.  I used a total of 12 on the front of the card and one inside.  I needed 2 of each color and 3 of some of them.  I didn't do this on my sample, but I have a great idea to make everything so much easier.  Use the Adhesive Sheets on one side of the cardstock.  Then, the leaves will be stickers and so easy to apply.  Just trim around the card where parts of the leaves extend out beyond the edges.  It's perfectly fine to let some of them extend.  Somehow it makes it all look more real.

Now run some of the Linen Thread around the card 2 times.  I usually just let the ends meet in front and secure them with scotch tape.  Make sure the tape is behind your sentiment layer.

The stamp set is called Hope You Know.  It's in the annual catalog.  Stamp in Copper Clay on  Basic White cardstock.  Cut it out with the 2nd smallest circle from the Deckled Circles dies.  Cut a circle of Copper Clay using the 3rd smallest circle from the dies.  Adhere together and then add to the card front with dimensionals.  Make sure that the circle covers the scotch tape.

Add a bow of Linen Thread with a rolled up glue dot.

Embellish with the Neutrals Adhesive-Backed Sequins.

I had a strip of the woodgrain left over so I used it on the inside.  Add a leaf as well.  The saying is from the Hope You Know stamp set.

Thanks so much Angie. I wish I could buy everything! I just can't and I'll admit that I bought too much! I really love the Paper Florist dies.
