Festive Tags Kit: 5 Tag Designs and 5, Yes 5, Cards You Can Make
August 06, 2023
Hello to you today.
There's a new kit in town called the Festive Tags Kit! I'll be talking about this kit today. I must mention first, though, that all of the kits in Kits Collection are on sale during the whole month of August. Kits are 10, 20, or 30% off. You need to visit my online store here to see what is available. Look at the Kits Collection. These are while supplies last. Some sold out kits may reappear if it says not currently available.
The Festive Tags Kit has all the supplies to make 15 Christmas tags. You make 3 each of 5 designs. The kit has everything that you need. There is no stamping. This kit is beautiful, fast, and easy peasy. Here is an example of each tag.
After making these tags, I decided to turn the tag making supplies into cards. I have a video to show you 5 cards made from this kit with a few additional Stampin' Up! supplies. Here goes.
I love these cards and they can easily be changed to go with supplies that you might already have at home. Of course, ordering is good too!
This card is on a Coastal Cabana base 5 1/2 x 8 1/2. There is a strip of Coastal Cabana stripe cut from the Brights 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper. The size is 2 x 4 1/4. Add a 1/4 inch strip of Gold Foil butted up against the designer paper. I punched a hole in the ornament with a 1/8 inch circle punch (retired). The gold ribbon is from the Gold & Silver Trim Combo Pack from the Online Exclusives. I used a brand new stamp set coming up in the mini called Sparling Snowflakes. Stamp in Coastal Cabana.
This card has a base of Thick Basic White same as above. Cut the larger trees from the Zany Zoo dies. I used 7. Watch the video to see about spacing. In the sample above, I used the Tailor Made Tags. In the sample I made on the video I used a left over tag for this. Which do you like best? The ribbon is Garden Green and can be found in the annual catalog called Real Red & Garden Green Ribbon Combo Pack.
I used the Sparkling Snowflakes stamp set with this card. Colors of the snowflakes are Lost Lagoon, Fresh Freesia, and Pool Party. Pull in the Black & White Gingham Ribbon.
This card is on a base of Lost Lagoon. I used a new embossing folder called Snowflake Sky 3D. This time I used the Real Red ribbon from the annual catalog Real Red & Garden Green Ribbon Combo Pack. I moved the wreath to the red tag background.
I think this is my favorite. I changed the flower to the pink tag background. I think that's Flirty Flamingo. I added silver trim. This is from the annual catalog and is called Simply Elegant Trim. On the sample in the video I did not put the trim around the card, but still behind the flowers. I used another new stamp set here called Magical Meadow. I thought the stems went along with that set. They are stamped in Lost Lagoon and Garden Green.
So there you have it.
Here are all of the cards. So you could just make tags and have 15 total. You could just make cards and have 15 total. You can mix and match. I hope you'll go take a look at the Festive Tags kit. You can't beat the price!
