Beautiful Balloons Graduation Card
June 08, 2023
Hello, hello, hello! Today I have a graduation or celebration card for you. There are all kinds of things we can celebrate!
My base is Real Red 5 1/2 x 8 1/2, fold at 4 1/4.
Next cut a layer of Basic Black 4 x 5 1/4. This was a graduation card so I made it in the school colors.
The Basic White layer is 3 3/4 x 5. In Gray Granite ink, stamp the two different sayings randomly on the background. The sayings are from Beautiful Balloons and Charming Sentiments.
Cut the largest balloon from the Beautiful Ballooons dies from Read Red and then cut again from the Gold Celebrations Specialty paper. This paper is really neat. It's a window sheet with designs of celebration. One side is gold and the other is silver. I wanted to use the gold so cut with the gold on top. Add the balloons with dimensionals.
You can see that I have some stars over the balloon. That's where I added adhesive to add the window sheet to the red balloon. You can also add a glue dot at the very bottom. You'll have a bow there to add as well. Tie a bow using the gold trim from the Simply Elegant Trim duo.
The Gold Foil stars are cut using the Beautiful Balloons dies. There are 2 sizes and I used them both. Some are peeping out from under the balloon and some are on top. Glue the stars. You could put a few on dimensionals.
The saying is from the Beautiful Balloons stamp set stamped on Basic White in Memento Black and punched out with the 1 1/4 inch circle punch. The Basic Black is punched out with the 1 3/8 circle punch (retired). Add with dimensionals.
The saying on the inside of the cards is from Charming Sentiments. Add another star. I added the background words from the front of the card near the bottom.
This is a great little card for any type of celebration. I hope you'll try it for someone special!
