Marigold Moments Dies
March 08, 2023
I have a sweet card for you today focusing on the Marigold Moments Dies. These flowers are so easy to make with only three dies for these flowers. The rest of the dies cut out images from the Marigold Moments stamp set.
This card is easier than it looks. Here are all the details.
The base of this card is Thick Basic White measuring 5 1/2 x 8 1/2. Score and fold at 4 1/4. Use your Bone Folder.
Cut a piece of Basic White 4 1/8 x 5 3/8. Run this through the Cut & Emboss Machine with the Cane Weave 3D Embossing Folder. Glue to the front of the base.
Cut a rectangle using the 3rd die in in the Scalloped Contours dies. Again use Basic White.
We'll finish this layer before adding it to the center of the card with dimensionals.
Use the Marigold Moments dies. I suggest that you might want to use the Adhesive Sheets when cutting the pieces of the flowers. Cut four of each part if you want one to go inside of the card. Use Highland Heather for the solid part of the flowers. Gorgeous Grape is the color I used for the detailed part of the flowers. The stem and leaves are Shaded Spruce.
Arrange the flowers before you pull off the backing to see how you want everything to go. I ended up cutting off one of the leaves for the two upper stems. Adhere the upper part first. I did not use dimensionals on the flowers because they are used under the panel. The bottom stem may need to be snipped a little. Add the panel.
The saying is from the Nature's Prints stamp set. Stamp in Gorgeous Grape on white scraps. Cut this out with the second smallest circle in the Stylish Shapes dies. Glue the part that overlaps the panels and add dimensionals to the part that does not. Use the mini dimensionals.
Add the fourth flower to the inside of the card. The saying here is from Nature's Prints.
There you have it. It is an easy flower to make since it only three parts to it! To see a card using only the stamps, go here. It's also in purples, but of course you could make a card in marigold colors!
