Fun Christmas Gift Using the Peekaboo Treat Bags
December 12, 2022
Today I have a really cute gift for you using the Peekaboo Treat Bag. This bag can be found on page 140 of the annual catalog. It comes in a package of 10, 5 in white and 5 in kraft.
I filled the bags with peppermint sticks. I found these at the Dollar Tree. They were just the right height. These bags were so easy to make. I used the Sweetest Christmas Designer Series Paper. In fact these scraps were all I needed to help me finish up my pack of DSP.
For the window of the bag, I put a 1 1/4 inch x 4 piece of the Real Red stripe paper over the top and a 1 x 4 inch piece just under the window. I used Multipurpose glue to hold everything in place. Along the top I also added a 1/4 x 4 piece of the Garden Green stripe. Another piece of the same went along the very bottom.
Tie some green ribbon from the Real Red/Garden Green Ribbon Combo Pack into a pretty bow.
The tag was cut from Thick Basic White using the Tailored Tag dies. The saying is from the Brightest Glow stamp set. Add some green embellishments from the 2021-2023 In Color Opal Rounds.
I decided that it might be nice to add a little more to my package although it certainly would not be needed.
This is so cute, but it does completely hide what's inside. That means anything could go there! The Leaves of Holly bundle with the Holly Berry dies were just what I needed. Cut both the solid and the detailed leaves from Garden Green. Match up the two and connect them with a glue dot at the base. Tuck them up under the tag. Cut both the solid and detailed berries from Real Red. Glue the two together. Glue them in place.
Thanks for taking a look at my project today. This will be my last Christmas project for the year.
