September 25, 2022
Welcome to the Luv 2 Stamp Blog Hop for September.
We are excited to share projects with you. We hope to inspire you to create beautiful new projects. Each month we will have a different theme based on the next month’s celebrations using Stampin’ Up! products.
Once you are done with each post, scroll down to the bottom and you will see a list of Blog Hop participants, you can click on their name to go to their post, or you can click the next button to go to the next post in line. Happy crafting! This month’s theme is Halloween.
Here is my card. I used designer paper from the Celebrate Everything Designer Series Paper. It's one of the Host benefits listed in the back of the July-December Mini catalog.
I made a slimline card for you. The base is Thick Basic White. It measures 7 x 8 1/2. Turn to the 7 inch side and score at 3 1/2. Be sure to use a Bone Folder to burnish the fold so that it's nice and crisp.
The slips of paper are cut to 1 1/4 to 3 1/4. I needed three of 2 designs. I alternated the designs. They are not straight up and down but a little askew. Add with dimensionals or with the Foam Adhesive Sheets.
Using the Metallic Mesh Ribbon tie a large bow and attach to the card with a glue dot at the knot. I think this ribbon is my favorite!
For the banner, use the Stylish Shapes dies. Cut the longer and thicker banner from Crushed Curry cardstock. Add the banner with dimensionals. Make sure that the dimensionals on the back do not go over the knot of the bow. You could actually add the dimensionals to the card front on each side of the bow to make sure.
Add a bit of the striped designer paper, from the same DSP pack, to the center. It measures 1/2 x 2 1/2. The spider is part of the Bewitching stamp set. Stamp on white scrap with Memento Black ink and then cut around it with paper snips. The word hello is from the Garden Birdhouses stamp set. Stamp it on a scrap and cut around it. Glue to the banner.
Finish off with some of the Classic Matte Dots.
For the envelope, cut a piece of designer paper just a little bigger than the flap. Glue it close to the fold. Now trim around the flap with paper snips. Look in the annual catalog for Slimline Envelopes!
Here is the inside of the card.
I just added two strips of designer paper and cut out another spider.
