3D Thursday Lemon Up Some Peekaboo Treat Bags!

Embossed Treat Bags and Leaves of Holly Bundle

The Embossed Treat Bags are in the 2022-2023 Annual Stampin' Up! catalog on page 140. These bags are strong and sturdy.  They are a good size.  Measurements are 4 3/4 x 6 1/2 x 1 1/2.    You get 10 bags for $7.50.  I recently had a Luv 2 Create Team Meeting and we used these bags for one of our projects.  Here is what we made.

We used the Leaves of Holly Bundle to decorate the bag.  You can find this bundle on pages 24-25 in the July-December SU Mini Catalog for 2022.  As well as the stamp set, we used the Holly Berry dies.  The secret to putting all of the pieces together is our Adhesive Sheets!

For the bag I used Real Red, Cherry Cobbler, Old Olive, Mossy Meadow, and Basic White card stock.

For the leaves use Pear Pizzazz for the outline base of the leaves.  For the detailed part use Mossy Meadow.  Put adhesive sheets on one side of the card stock before cutting.  Then simply peal the adhesive from the back to add the detailed piece to the outline piece.

The tag has two leaves that are detailed and cut out as part of the tag.  I used adhesive sheets on the back of the entire tag.  There is a die to cut out from Old Olive to put behind the detailed leaves.

The basic berries are cut from Real Red.  Cut out the detailed berries from Cherry Cobbler.  Don't forget to add the adhesive sheets to the back of the Cobbler paper.  Add the berries with dimensionals.

Stamp the saying on Basic White using Mossy Meadow ink.  Cut the tag with the same dies.  Add with dimensionals as well.

Finish the design with some of the red ribbon from the Real Red & Garden Green Ribbon Combo Pack found on page 9 of the mini catalog.  This is very nice ribbon and ties into a beautiful bow.

There is a lot of die cutting for this project but once that is done, the rest goes together easily by using the Adhesive Sheets.

I wanted my team to see how beautiful these bags are.  They are sure to come in handy for Christmas or for any giving.  They would be great for treat bags at a birthday party.  You can even color these bags with out blending brushes or by spritzing them using our refills.  I'm so glad I have a few left over to have on hand.

Thanks for joining me today.  My next few posts will share more of the projects we made at my Luv 2 Create Team meeting.  Remember that the July-December Mini Catalog goes live on Friday, July 1st.  Need a catalog.  I'm happy to send one to customers and future customers if you don't already have a demonstrator.
