3D Thursday Lemon Up Some Peekaboo Treat Bags!
June 30, 2022
Welcome to 3D Thursday! Today I have the cutest Peekaboo Treat Bag decorated with lemony goodness.
This bag is called the Peekaboo Treat Bag. It comes in a pack of 10 bags. You get 5 in white and 5 in craft. They are food safe and even have a zip lock closure. The best thing is that you get 10 bags for only $6! So here is the bag I made for you today.
These lemons are made using the Fish Builder Punch! They are so easy and cute! We'll be using the A Fish & A Wish stamp set along with the punch. Together they make the A Fish & A Wish Bundle with a 10% savings.
To make the lemons, punch the smaller and fatter fish from a 1 inch strip of Daffodil Delight card stock. You'll need 7 of them. Now, with your Paper Snips trim off the tail. Trim up and around and try to match your cut to the other end of your lemon. Sponge around the lemons with the Daffodil pad and a Sponge Dauber. Now use the larger fish on the punch. Punch 7 of the tails of the fish from Granny Apple Green. You don't need the whole fish, just the tails. Add your leaves to the lemon with glue dots.
Use the Tail Made Tags dies to make your tag. Cut it from Thick Basic White card stock. To make the tag shorter simple place the did on top of the tag you just cutting and lowering the top. You can feel where the stitching on the tag kind of locks in place. Cut again to get your shorter tag. I used the second largest tag.
For the saying, you will need to cover the Here so you just have the for you. I covered the word with tape, inked the stamp, and then took off the tape before stamping near the bottom of the tag.
Add all lemons with dimensionals.
Add the tag with dimensionals. Then wrap about 13 inches of the Black & White Gingham Ribbon around the package. Tie a bow and secure it with a glue dot over the hole in the tag.
Fill the bag with 9 lemon drops. Give your creation to a friend.
Let me say that I was inspired by our annual catalog to make the lemons using the Fish Builder Punch! If you would like the download PDF, Download Lemon Up a Peekaboo Treat Bag. I'll have another version for a treat using these bags in a few days. Please check back with me!
Our 3D Thursday group will return in September. We are losing Debbie Henderson and I will not be returning. It's been so much fun, but I'm just simplifying my life a little. Keep on visiting 3D Thursday in September for more fantastic 3D ideas!
