Wild & Sweet Panda with Bamboo Beauty
May 10, 2022
I am enjoying using my new products from the new Stampin' Up! annual catalog. Today I'm using the Wild & Sweet stamp set along with the Bamboo Beauty.
This set is so cute! So here is my card.
If you like using blends, this card is a cinch. If not, just leave it in black and white. It will still be super cute!
My base is Granny Apple Green cut to 5 1/2 x 8 1/2. Fold at 4 1/2. Mount the two long bamboo stems together on a clear block. I used the I block. Stamp in Memento Black cross the card front. I flipped the block around so there was a little variety as I went across. Now pick one of the leaves stems and add the leaves across the bottom and across the top. I tried to make it look like these little stems had branched off of the big ones.
Stamp the panda on a piece of Basic White cardstock. I used the Stamparatus to make sure I could stamp again if needed. Cut this out using the Stitched Rectangle dies.
Color the panda using a Light Old Olive for the leaves. I used the Soft Suede Combo for the tree. The Light Pool Party blend was used to color around the entire image. This really makes the panda pop!
The saying is from the Bamboo Beauty stamp set. Stamp in Versamark on Basic Black and use the White Embossing Powder from the Basics Embossing Powders. Melt with the Heat Tool. Trim with paper snips.
Add the panda to the center of the card front with dimensionals. You can add the words with dimensionals as well. If you are worried about postage, just glue down the saying.
For the inside of the card, just stamp the panda down in the corner. I just placed the paper on my Stamparatus so that the panda would stamp in the corner. That's all I needed here.
I'm so glad you stopped by today!
