Facebook Live 11.03.2021 Blending Brushes Ideas
November 05, 2021
I hope you saw my Facebook Live on Wednesday, but if you missed it, I've got you covered. We made cards using different ideas with Blending Brushes. These are pretty quick to make and I think very pretty.
I'm going to put the video here.
Then I'll add a few details about each card.
For the first card the base is 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 and folded at 4 1/4. The Misty Moonlight layer is 4 x 5 1/5. the Basic White layer is 3 7/8 x 5 1/8. These measurements are the same for all three cards.
Cut a piece of copy paper into 4 parts. Use one of them to cut the shape you see in the card. It's from the Seasonal Labels dies. Place the mask you've made over the Basic White piece and center just as you wish. Adhere in a way that will not mess up the cardstock. Since my piece of copy paper is larger than the cardstock, I taped it underneath. Any tearing will be on the back of the layer.
Use the colors Night of Navy, Misty Moonlight, and Pool Party. Begin at the bottom with the darkest color and build on that. When done remove the mask.
Stamp snowflakes from the Snowflake Wishes stamp set in Night of Navy. Add the Blue Adhesive Backed Gems in the center of each snowflake. Add the Soft Shimmer Sequins where you wish.
For this card I used a base of Blackberry Bliss and the next layer is Rich Razzleberry.
Draw lines lightly on the white layer using grid lines to help. Line this off with sticky pad notes.
The colors used for this card are Blackberry Bliss, Rich Razzleberry, and Positively Pink.
The stamped images are from the Beauty of Tomorrow stamp set. Stamp in Memento Black.
Embellish with the 2021-2023 In Color Jewels.
The base is Mossy Meadow and the second layer is Old Olive.
Use the Layering Circles to make a mask as for the first card and attach.
Blend beginning with Evening Evergreen, then Mossy Meadow, and then Old Olive.
Stamp the leaves and saying with the Love of Leaves stamp set.
Add some of the Matte Decorative Dots.
I think that's all the information you'll need to try these projects.
