Color Fusers Blog Hop for November, 2021

Welcome to the Color Fusers Blog Hop for November of 2021!  I'm so happy to have you.  Today we are using the colors Merry Merlot, Misty Moonlight, Cinnamon Cider, and Early Espresso.

These colors certainly make you this of fall!  I have chosen to use the Christmas Season bundle for my card.

Start with a base of Misty Moonlight that measures 4 1/4 x 11.  Score and fold at 5 1/2.

The Basic White layer is cut at 4 1/8 x 5 3/8.  I wanted just a small border around the white layer.  Run this layer through the Cut & Emboss Machine using the Merry Melody embossing folder.  Glue to the front of the card.  I find that using the Multipurpose Liquid Glue provides a little give when adhering.

Use the Scalloped Contours dies to cut the central label from the Misty Moonlight designer paper from the Harvest Meadow Designer Series Paper.  I used the 3rd die in from the outside.  Add this layer with dimensionals.

Stamp on Basic White 2 large pine cones and 2 small pine cones in Cinnamon Cider and Early Espresso.  Use the Early Espresso for the more detailed of the stamps in the 2 step process.  Stamp the stem of the berries in espresso and the berries in Merry Merlot.  Stamp 4 of these.  Cut these out using the Seasonal Labels dies.  Cut 3 stems in Misty Moonlight using the Poinsettia dies.

Arrange these as you like.  My advice is to arrange and then take a picture with your phone.  Use the picture to help you put everything back as you add adhesive to the parts.  Decide if you want to glue the pieces, or add dimensionals or glue dots.

Add a ribbon made from the Cherry Cobbler & Gold Metallic Ribbon.  This wasn't one of the colors, but I felt that on this card, it looked like the Merry Merlot.  Use glue dots.

The saying is from the Christmas to Remember stamp set.  Stamp in Merry Merlot on white and then fussy cut.  Add a dimensional to the left of the saying where it extends over the label.  Add glue on the rest.
