Blackberry Beauty Designer Series Paper Fun Fold Wedding Card

One Stamp at a Time Ghoul's Night Out!

Welcome to the One Stamp at a Time blog hop for October.  Our theme is Ghoul's Night Out!  This is such a fun hop.  I can't wait to see the card and 3D projects of our hoppers.

May be an image of flower and text that says 'OSAT ONE STAMP AT A TIME BLOG HOP'

For my card I made a book fold card using the Pattern Party Host Designer Series Paper.  It also features the Cutest Halloween bundle and the Cute Halloween Designer Series Paper.

Start with a card base of Basic Black cut to 4 1/4 x 11.  Score at 5 1/2 and 6 3/4.

Glue down the small section.  This serves as the spine and thus the name book fold.  Add a piece of the black and white check from Pattern Party.  It measures 1 1/8 x 5 3/8.  Tie the Black Glitter Organdy Ribbon around this section and into a bow in the center of the front.  I find that adding a glue dot under the first tie helps keep the ribbon in place so that I can tie the rest.

For the front of the card add the bumblebee paper.  It's actually on the back of the black and white check.  This piece is cut to 4 1/8 x 4 1/8.

The tree is cut using the Beautiful Trees dies.  Before cutting add some of the Adhesive Sheets to the back of your black card stock.  OSAT for October Cutest Halloween Cutest halloween Bundle Book Fold Beautiful Trees dies Halloween Punch Black Glittered Organdy Ribbon Pattern Party DSP Close up Jo Anne Hewins Luv 2 Create
This turns the tree into a sticker and it adheres easily to the card front.

The ghost is punched from the Cute Halloween Designer Series Paper with the Halloween punch.  The Cutest Halloween stamp set and the Halloween punch can be purchased as a bundle.  Add the ghost with dimensionals.

The saying is from the Cutest Halloween stamp set.  Stamp with Memento ink on Basic White.  Cut the saying apart and add with dimensionals.

Finish with the Matte Black Dots.

For my 3D item, I made a bag using two pieces of  6 x 6 from the same Pattern Party Host DSP.  Score one side, this one will be the top of the bag, at 3/4.  Score the other three sides at 1 1/4.  You

The 3/4 score line becomes the top of the bag.  Use a Bone Folder to burnish the folds and this section is folded so that it is the band around the top.  Use some glue to hold it in place.  Do this for both pieces.

Burnish the rest of the folds.  The larger areas are the front and back of the bag.  Fold the other sides back.  The bottom fold is for the bottom of the bag.  On one of the pieces only cut away the bottom 2 outside sections.  This is the side that you want to decorate.

I cut a moon from the designer paper using the Inspiring Canopy dies.  Cut another tree just as above.  Don't forget the Adhesive Sheet on the back.

Punch the jack-o'-lantern from the Cute Halloween paper with the Halloween punch.  Add with dimensionals.  The Boo! is from the Banner Year stamp set in the annual catalog.  Stamp in Memento on a scrap of Basic White.  Trim around it with snips and add with dimensionals.

Line up the two bags from the bottom.  Add a piece of stronger card board ( I used the designer series paper backing piece) cut at 1 1/8 x 3 1/8 between the two pretty layers for strength.

Now is should kind of fold up on its own.  Glue together.  I do have a video showing how to put a big bag together.  It's about the same.  Find it here.  It will look best if you fold the sides from the front on top of the other.  You'll have a pretty fold instead of edges showing although it's pretty hard to tell.

Use an 8 inch piece of the Black and White Gingham Ribbon for each side.  Punch small holes and tie knots in the ribbon on the inside.  Use some tape inside the bag if needed to keep the ribbon from pulling through.

Here are my card and bag together.  I have a feeling my granddaughter Sagan may get these.  Now to fill that bag with goodies for her.

I'm so glad you joined me today, but you don't want to miss all of the other projects.  If I'm your first or just a stop on your way, please continue on the hop!
