Cute Halloween Color Challenge Card

Hello!  Thanks for checking out my post today!  I have a color challenge from the Create with Connie and Mary Thursday Challenge # 688.  We are using Pumpkin Pie, Flirty Flamingo, and Highland Heather.

I'm going to tell you that these are not my colors.  I don't like them together.  With this said, here is my card.  It is kind of cute!

For my project I used the Cute Halloween 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper.  One side of each sheet is in black and white.  That's what I chose to use for the card.

The base of the card is Flirty Flamingo 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 and folded at 4 1/4.

I cut the designer paper into 3 equal parts to fit my white layer.  For 2 of the pieces color in the candy using the light colors for the blends Pumpkin Pie, Flirty Flamingo, and Highland Heather.  Leave the piece in the center with no color.  Add the sheets to the card.  Add these to a 4 x 5 1/4 piece of Basic White, the top and the bottom first and then add in the center.

Use the same blends to color the White Crinkled Seam Binding.  Tie around the layer and into a knot.

The sentiment label uses the stamp set Banner Year.  Cut circles using the Layering Circles Dies.  The larger is Flirty Flamingo.  Stamp in Memento Black.  Fussy cut one of the bats and add above the sentiment label.  Embellish with the Matte Black Dots.  Add this label with dimensionals.

That's all there is.  It was fun coloring in the designer paper.  I would prefer different colors.  I'm sure others would love the colors in this project.  That's what makes the world interesting!
