Color Fusers Blog Hop for October 2021

Welcome to the Color Fusers Blog Hop for October of 2021. We are using the colors Just Jade, Evening Evergreen, and Cajun Craze.

These colors are so lovely together. Here is a picture of my card for this challenge.

My base is Evening Evergreen measuring 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 and folding at 4 1/4.

The next layer is Just Jade. Cut this out with the largest rectangle die in the Scalloped Contours dies. Now run it through the Cut & Emboss Machine with the Stitched Greenery die. I love that die so much! Glue to the center of the card front.

The next layer is Basic White. It's also cut using the Scalloped Contours dies. Use the third largest rectangle. This will be added after decoration with dimensionals.

For each daisy, you will need three of the Medium Daisy punch outs in Cajun Craze. Curl the petals up on two of them with your bone folder and curl the petals on the other down. Add with glue dots with petals askew: one curled up, one curled down, and the last curled up. The center is from the Pierced Blooms dies. It cuts two of these at a time. Use a Blending Brush and Cajun Craze ink to color these a little darker. The leaves are cut from the Forever Flourishing dies. Cut it apart in the middle and attach again so that more of the greenery show. The leaves are in Evening Evergreen. Glue into opposite corners of the white layer. Let me tell you now that there is another flower inside the card. Just make them all at once!

The sentiment is from the Peaceful Cabin stamp set. Stamp in Just Jade. Cut it out using the Harvest dies. Add a piece of the Just Jade gingham ribbon from the Flowers for Every Season Ribbon Combo Pack. Now add the saying with dimensionals.

As I look at my card now the white layer is not straight. It should be!

Here is the inside of the card. The saying, stamped in Evening Evergreen, is from also from the Peaceful Cabin stamp set. Add the flower.
