Basic Borders Dies Fall Card

Fall is my favorite season. I love the cooler weather and the colors. I love watching a lot of leaves fall with a breeze. Today I have a fall card for you using the Basic Border dies and the Stitched Leaves dies.

The base of the card is Merry Merlot that measures 5 1/2 x 8 1/2, folded at 4 1/4.

On the front of the card glue a piece of the Beauty of the Earth Designer Series Paper to the bottom. Cut to 2 x 5 1/2.

You'll need a piece of Basic White that is 3 1/2 x 5 1/2. Cut near the bottom with the Basics Borders dies. Make sure that the straight part of the die is straight on the paper and also look at the ends. Make sure they extend over the paper the same on each side.

Using the Stitched Leaves dies, but leaves from Merry Merlot, Cajun Craze, and Merry Merlot.

Stamp the leaves from Welcoming Woods on this piece in Merry Merlot. Glue down the leaves. Add the saying from Timeless Tulips.

Add a bow of Linen Thread with a rolled up glue dot.

Glue the white piece to the front of the card at the top.

Add a 1 inch strip of the designer paper to the inside of the card.
