The Penguin Playmates Designer Series Paper Makes Cute Cards!

Welcome to the Create with Connie and Mary Thursday Challenge #680.  Today we are using the colors Fresh Freesia, Misty Moonlight, and Just Jade.

CCMC680

It just so happens that these colors are right in the Penguin Playmates DSP.  Here is my card.

The base of this card is Misty Moonlight 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 and folded in half.

I pulled out three of the papers from the pack and cut it into 1 1/2 inch strips.  Add the first piece at an angle.  Butt the other pieces up to the first.  Cover the entire front.

Cut some of the characters from the papers.  I tried to pick the ones that shared our color combination.  The ones in the back are glued and the three in front are added with dimensionals.

The saying is from the Penguin Place stamp set.  The smallest penguin was punched out of the paper using the Penguin Builder Punch.

Here's the inside of the card.  The snowman is cut directly from the paper.
