Peaceful Cabin Card

Welcome to the Create with Connie and Mary Thursday Challenge #681.  Today we have a sketch for you!

I have made a card using the Peaceful Cabin bundle and the Penguins Playmates Designer Series Paper available free during Sale-a-Bration.  That offers end at the end of September.  Here is my card.

CCMC #681 Peaceful Cabin Card by Jo Anne Hewins

The base of this card is Misty Moonlight measuring 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 and folded at 4 1/4.  The center moonlight diagonal stripe paper measures 3 x 4 1/4.

The cabin was stamped in Smoky Slate ink on a piece of Basic White that was about 2 3/4 x 4.  Trim off the top of the cabin with the Cabin dies.

Add along the bottom of the center designer paper.  Cut the white so that you get the extensions needed for the sketch.

The moonlight diagonal strips added to the top and middle of the paper are 1 inch wide and 3 1/3 inched long.

CCMC #681 Peaceful Cabin Close Up by Jo Anne Hewins

Cut out two sets of the trees using the Just Jade designer paper and the Cabin dies.  I trimmed these up wherever I felt it was needed.  So I can't really say what happened next.  I added the trees trying to pay attention to how they would look behind each other.  Some were added just with a few glue dots and some have cut up dimensionals where I thought I could hide them.

Dimensionals were added behind the house.

The saying from Peaceful Cabin was stamped two times on white scrap and fussy cut.  Glue to the card front.

Add some of the Subtle Shimmer Sequins.  I love those so much!
