So Many Snowflakes

It's time for the Create with Connie and Mary Thursday Challenge.  This week we have a color challenge.  We are using Night of Navy, Petal Pink, and Soft Succulent.

I've come up with a snowflake card for you.  It has several newer products from the annual catalog.

Start with a card base of Soft Succulent that is 5 1/2 x 8 1/2, score and fold at 4 1/4.

I started off with the 2021-2023 In Color Shimmer Vellum.  Cut a piece of the Soft Succulent to 3 1/4 x 5 1/2.  Run this piece through the Cut & Emboss Machine with the snowflake folder from the Wintry 3D Embossing Folders.  This consists of two smaller folders, snowflakes and tree branches.  Once embossed turn the paper over to the back.  You lose having the shimmer, but the design stands out in a beautiful white.  I used my Seal to add this paper to my card front.  I do have to admit that it was hard to cover up the other side with the embossing and shimmer.  That's a choice you'll have to make for yourself.

For the rest of the front of the card, use a 1 inch piece of a succulent print from the Tidings of Christmas 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper.

Tie some of the Petal Pink Organdy Striped Ribbon around the card to hide the seam of the two papers.  Tie in a knot.

Use the So Many Snowflakes dies to cut the snowflakes.  This die set is in the Annual catalog.  It returns this year from last year's holiday mini.  These dies coordinate with the Snowflake Wishes stamp set.  Before cutting add some of the Adhesive Sheets to the back of the Petal Pink and Night of Navy card stock.  When you cut, the snowflakes become stickers and are so easy to adhere to the card front.  Add snowflakes as you wish.  I stuck to some of the smaller snowflakes.

The saying for the front is from the Christmas to Remember stamp set.  I couldn't resist using something brand new from the new mini catalog!   Just stamp in Night of Navy on Petal Pink card stock.

For the inside of the card, this saying is also from the Christmas to Remember stamp set.  Add snowflakes from the Snowflake Wishes stamp set near the bottom in Petal Pink and Night of Navy.
