Shaded Summer and the Sale-a-Bration Offering Summer Shadows Dies

Shaded Summer is a fantastic stand alone stamp set in the Annual catalog on page 75.  The sayings are wonderful.  Well, bam! beginning August 3rd you can earn the Summer Shadow Dies that coordinate with Sale-a-Bration.  All you need is a $100 order.  On my Facebook Live this week I featured these products with some really cute samples.  Let me say that I was inspired by some of the samples in the Sale-a-Bration brochure.

Here is the video!  I hope you'll watch it and share if you want, too.

Shaded Summer Facebook Live 7.21.2021 White emboss Resist by Jo Anne Hewins

For this card the base is Smoky Slate.  Stamp around the outside with the largest flower stamp in Versamark.  The patterned paper is from the Peaceful Place Designer Series Paper available in the August-December Mini catalog.   It's cut to 3 x 4.  That's a great size to make 12 cards from one sheet of 12 x 12.

Use Petal Pink, Coastal Cabana, and Highland Heather for the flowers stems.  Stamp in Versamark and emboss with white embossing powder from the Basics Embossing Powders collection.  Use a Blending Brush to add more color toward the center of each stem.  Wipe away any extra color on the embossed part.  Cut out with the dies and glue to the card front.

Add twine from the Baker's Twine Essentials Pack.  The saying is embossed in white and added with dimensionals.

Finish with Metallic Pearls.

The card base is Merry Merlot.  Stamp around the outside of the base with the smaller group of stems in Merry Merlot.  The patterned paper is from the Expressions in Ink Designer Series Paper cut to 3 x 4.

Stamp the large stamp in Merry Merlot and cut out with the dies.  Add with dimensionals.

Cut some of the flowers and leaves in Gold Foil.  Place around the merlot stem.

Stamp the saying in Merry Merlot.  Add with dimensionals.

Finish with Metallic Pearls.

Shaded Summer Facebook Live 7.21.2021 SAB dies by Jo Anne Hewins

The base is Mint Macaron cut to 4 1/4 x 11 and scored at 5 1/2.  Use the Pretty Flowers EF on the front of the card.  The patterned paper is from the Hand-Penned DSP.  It's cut to 3 x 4.

Cut flowers using Pale Papaya and Calypso Coral.  Cut the leaves from Mint Macaron and add as you please.

The saying is stamped in Calypso Coral and cut out with the Potted Succulents dies.  Add with dimensionals.

Finish with the Artistry Blooms Adhesive-Backed Sequins.
