I wanted to share this card with you today showing the Hand-Penned Petals stamp set and the Hand-Penned Designer Series Paper. It's so easy to make pretty cards using them. And, the Hand-Penned DSP is one of the papers that is 15% off during the Designer Series Paper Sale going on during until August 2nd. More on that at the end of the post.
Start with a base of Mint Macaron that is 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 and folded at 4 1/4. You'll need another layer of Mint Macaron that is 4 1/8 x 5 3/8. Run it through the Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine with the Tasteful Textiles 3D Embossing Folder. Adhere.
The designer paper is from the Hand-Penned pack. That pack of paper is just so beautiful. It reminds me of my grandmother. She loved small print flowers. For this card cut it at 2 x 5 1/2. Add to the center of the card. I use my Grid Paper to help me get the paper centered and straight.
Cut the mint striped paper using the Stitched So Sweetly dies. Add to the center of the card with dimensionals.
Stamp the largest flower stamp on Basic White. We'll only used part of this. I just fussy cut it, but you can use the Penned Flowers dies if you wish. You'll need to cut the rest with your Paper Snips. I used the Pale Papaya and the Mint Macaron Combo Blends to color. Stamp just the top large leaves three more times, color, and cut. All around the striped paper.
For the tag cut the use the smallest tag in Basic White and stamp the saying in Mint Macaron. Color some of the White Crinkled Seam Binding with the Dark Mint Macaron Blend. Tie a bow and add with a glue dot.
For the inside just stamp the largest flower stamp in Memento Black.
Thanks so much for your time today. If I can be of service to you, please let me know. I hope you have time to stamp today!
