Hello! I had an in person Luv 2 Create Team meeting on Saturday! That hasn't happened in a long time! Eight of us were there and it was so good to see each other again.
Here is Jean, Lauren, Martha, and Kaye.
And here are Twila (back), Cindy, and Sandy. They did not know I took their pictures. You can see how hard they are concentrating on their creations. Believe me we had many smiles. I should have tried to do a selfie with me in there, but it never occurred to me.
The pink one used Dark Positively Pink, Dark Granny Apple Green, and Dark Bermuda Bay. I decorated it with the large leaf from the Artistic dies in Gold Foil. Saying from Sweet as a Peach.
The brown one used Dark Night of Navy, Cinnamon Cider, and a little Dark Just Jade. I stamped on it using the Happiest of Birthdays stamp set in Night of Navy ink. Use the Stamparatus to get a good dark image. Allow to dry for a while.
The green one used Dark Daffodil Delight, Light Blackberry Bliss, and Light Shaded Spruce. The cut outs used on this are from the Summer Shadows dies. These dies are in the upcoming Sale-a-Bration Brochure that starts on August 3rd. You can earn them for free with a $100 purchase. They also coordinate with the Shaded Summer stamp set found in the Annual catalog.
Supplies used for this technique are Vellum Card Stock, Basic White Card Stock, 91% Isopropyl Alcohol, small brush, paper towel, spritzer with alcohol, Wink of Stella, container for alcohol, Adhesive Sheets, and a Bone Folder. I used the dark blends Night of Navy, Just Jade, Granny Apple Green, and Cajun Craze. There are many videos out there for this process. Still, I made my own. I would also recommend the video made by Patty Bennett on this technique. Here's mine.
So here are some samples made by my team. They were to finish a card and share with our team on our Facebook group.
These were made by Jean. Didn't she do a fantastic job!
This card was made by Kaye!
None of these samples shown have added the Wink of Stella or splatters. They liked them without that.
I hope you have enjoyed seeing our projects from our team meeting. I think we all had a great time with projects, door prizes, a little Stampin' Up! history, and being with each other! Of course we went out to lunch after. Again, if you are interested in joining our little group, just reach out to me.
As a reward for a $50 purchase I will email you a compilation of around 20 tutorials by different demonstrators around the US. You'll see lots of stamp sets and bundles featured with lots of styles from these demos. These will be emailed after the 20th of the month. These are quality tutorials! Please use the Host Code FK6QGM3W if your order is under $150.
