The Ombre Gift Bags are on page 137 of the Annual Catalog. You get 20 for $6 and they come in Evening Evergreen, Soft Succulent, Polished Pink, Pale Papaya, and Fresh Freesia. That's all 5 of the new In Colors. I did several projects with the bags on my last post. I'll add a link to it at the end of this post. I was influenced by Linda Heller for this project. Here is a picture.
I shared this gift card holder with the stampers in the NC Demo Facebook Group on Saturday. I'll share that video on this post as well. For this holder, you'll fold the bag in half just to the zigzag. Trim making sure you also cut the bottom of the bag. Trim as little as you can to keep the bag as large as it can be. This will make 2 openings for our project.
I'm going to list items used. The video should make everything clear.
1 piece of Pansy Petals Designer Series Paper 1 x 5. Score at 1/2. This is for spine of holder.
2 pieces of Basic White using the 2nd largest rectangle from the Scalloped Contours dies.
2 pieces of Basic White using the 3rd largest rectangle from the Scalloped Contours dies.
Cut outs from the Pansy Petals DSP of pansies and leaves using Pansy dies.
Open Weave In Color Ribbon to match bag color.
White Twine from Snail Mail Twine Combo or Baker's Twine Essentials Pack.
Circle from the Inspiring Canopy dies.
Circular hole reinforcements from the Tailor Made Tags dies.
Here are more pics of the holder and inserts.
So here is the video. Enjoy. In the video I use the Fresh Freesia bag for this project.
