Color Fusers Blog Hop for May 2021

Welcome to the Color Fusers Blog Hop for May of 2021.  We are using the colors Poppy Parade, Flirty Flamingo, Pool Party, and Bumblebee.  You might have just come from Melissa's blog.  I'm sure she had a very artsy sample.  I love her creations!  I'm so glad you are here.

For my card I'm using the Sweet Ice Cream bundle.  These items are carried over to the new catalog as separate items.

Color Fusers May Sweet Ice Cream Card by Jo Anne Hewins

Start with a card base of Poppy Parade that is 5 1/2 x 8 1/2, folded at 4 1/4.

The next layer is Flirty Flamingo and measures 3 3/4 x 5.  Assemble all from this layer and then add at the end to the Poppy Parade base with dimensionals or you could use the Foam Adhesive Sheets as well.

A layer of Basic White measuring 3 5/8 x 4 7/8  is next.  Use a Pool Party Stampin' Write Marker to make speckles over this layer.  Simply pull the large end of the marker over the inside of the cap toward the paper.  Now run this layer through the Cut & Emboss Machine with the Tasteful Textile Embossing Folder.  Glue to the Flirty Flamingo layer.

Punch the cone from the Ice Cream Corner Designer Series Paper.  This paper is still available until the end of June since it's in the January-June catalog.  Use the Ice Cream Cone Builder Punch.

Stamp two each of the ice cream cones in our colors for today Poppy Parade, Flirty Flamingo, Pool Party, and Bumblebee.  The bumblebee ice cream is stamped off.

Start with the cone at the bottom and one ice cream scoop.  Keep piling on the scoops until you are at the top.  I had one scoop left over for the inside of the card.

Stamp the saying on Basic White in Poppy Parade and fussy cut with snips.  Add across the card with dimensionals.

Tie a length of the Pool Party Sheer Ribbon around this flamingo layer and tie in a bow in front.  I like to add a little glue dot under the first tie.  That's holds everything in place while you finish the bow.

Add some of the Artistry Blooms Adhesive Backed Sequins in Pool Party.

For the inside of the card, punch another cone and use the left over scoop from the front.  The saying is from the Sweet Ice Cream stamp set in Poppy Parade.
