A Sweet Symmetry with the Pierced Blooms Dies

Hello!  I'm so glad that you stopped by today.  I have a card using the new Sweet Symmetry Designer Series Paper.  I thought that this paper paired well with the Pierced Blooms dies.  My card for the Create with Connie and Mary Thursday Challenge.  We are using the colors Flirty Flamingo, Bumblebee, and Night of Navy.

The piece of designer paper from Sweet Symmetry has all three of these colors.  I just love this paper!

Don't you think this paper works well with the dies?  I love it.

Start with a card base of 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 and fold at 4 1/4.  Add the Sweet Symmetry designer paper to the front.  It is cut at 4 x 5 1/4.

Using the Night of Navy designer paper from the pack cut a rectangle using the Stitched So Sweetly dies.  I used the 2nd largest one.  Cut out the center with the 4th largest one.

Cut a rectangle from Basic White using the 3rd largest die.  Stamp the saying from Friends Are Like Seashells in Night of Navy.  Add this layer to the center of the card.

Add the rectangle frame to the center of the card with Foam Adhesive Strips making sure to cover all of the white layer.

Cut flowers with the Pierced Blooms in Flirty Flamingo, one large and 2 smaller.  Cut centers, some small and some large from Bumblebee.  Cut tiny flowers from Bumblebee (6).  Leaves are cut in Night of Navy.  Arrange all the cut outs in a manner that is pleasing to you.  Add with glue, glue dot, or dimensionals as needed.

For the inside of the card, the saying is from Friends Are Like Seashells as well.  Add another flower down in the corner.

That's it!  I have a lot of new stuff, but I just still love the Pierced Blooms dies!
