Ice Cream Corner DSP and In Bloom Bundle

Welcome to the Create with Connie and Mary Thursday Challenge # 658. Today we are using Daffodil Delight, Blackberry Bliss, and Bermuda Bay.

Whenever I have a challenge it seems like the In Bloom bundle is the answer. Of course, I can't use it for every card, or could I? Well I guess that could become boring for you and eventually for me as well. I have my demo order for the new catalog and lots of new stuff to use! So, here is my card for today.

My card starts with a base of Thick Basic White that is 4 1/4 x 11, score and fold at 5 1/2. Cut the Blackberry Bliss diagonal paper from the Ice Cream Corner Designer Series Paper. This would be 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 to cover the entire front of the card. Use our Multipurpose Liquid Glue. It will give you just a few seconds to make sure you have it placed just right.

Stamp the saying from the Prized Peony stamp set in Blackberry Bliss ink on Basic White. Cut this out with the saying in the center using the 2nd largest rectangle from the Stitched So Sweetly dies. Run some of the Blackberry Bliss Striped Ribbon around the card. I find that a glue dot under the first tie will hold the ribbon in place while you finish the bow.

Now cut out some of the smaller flowers in Blackberry Bliss, Bermuda Bay, and Daffodil Delight. To give a little dimension to the tiny flowers place them on a spongy surface and push down in the center. I use the wrong end of the old paper piercer. Of course, if you mail your card, they could get pushed down. Just place each flower until you are pleased with how they look. I chose to add some on top of the tail of the ribbon, too. I glued most of the flowers, but added dimensionals to the largest flowers. Add the whole panel with dimensionals or the Foam Adhesive Sheets. I used the Foam Adhesive Sheets. Love that!

For the inside of the card, the saying is again from Prized Peony. Add a few flowers in the corner. That's it!

I wasn't sure about these colors, but yes, they work!
