Facebook Live 4.14.2021 Using the Quiet Meadow Bundle

We had a fun time on the Facebook Live this past Wednesday. Let me share with you the cards that we made!

We are using the Quiet Meadow stamp set and the Meadow dies. They are available as a bundle beginning on May 4th when the new annual catalog goes live. We are also using the new Scalloped Contours dies as well.

The base of the card is Basic Black measuring 4 1/4 x 11, score and fold at 5 1/2. The designer paper is from the True Love Designer Series Paper. Cut it to fit the entire front of the card at 4 1/4 x 5 1/2. I like to use the Multipurpose Liquid Glue for this purpose. It will have a little give before it sets, but work quickly.

The layer of black diagonal stripe is from the same paper pack. Use the Scalloped Contours dies for this, third one in. Cut the flower and butterfly from Polished Pink card stock. Glue down. Add the layer with dimensionals, or I used the Foam Adhesive Sheets. Add a length of the Polished Pink Ribbon around the layer.

Add a bow and the tag. Use the stamp set and dies for the tag.

Color in some of the flowers around the center layer with the Polished Pink Blends Combo.

For the second card base use the same size and color as the first card.

You need a Basic White sheet cut to 4 x 5 1/4. Use Blending Brushes add color to this layer using Pool Party, Melon Mambo, and Calypso Coral. Spritz using one of the Stampin' Up! spritzers with water and allow to dry. This will lift some of the color and add interest.

Cut flowers and butterflies from Basic Black card stock. Glue onto the layer. Cut with the Scalloped Contours dies using the third one in. You will cut through some of the flowers added. Glue the outside part of the layer to the card front. Add dimensionals or Foam Adhesive Sheets to the back of the layer. Add black twine from the Baker's Twine Essentials Pack. The saying is from the Quiet Meadow stamp set and cut out using the Meadows dies. Add with dimensionals or there is a tip on the video. Add the bow with a rolled up glue dot.

Complete with some of the Matte Black Dots.
