Butterfly Brilliance Bundle So Pretty!

I've been enjoying using the Butterfly Brilliance bundle. Let me show you my project.

I am going to miss the Seaside Spray color so much. We made this card in my last card class and now I'm down to 1/2 sheet of this color. So sad!

The card base is Seaside Spray 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 and scored and folded at 4 1/4.

The next layer is also Seaside Spray and measures 4 1/8 x 5 3/8. Stamp this layer with the Butterfly Brilliance background stamp. To make sure I got a good image, I used the Stamparatus. I stamped the image on the Stamparatus grid paper. This helped me know where to place my card stock. Use Seaside Spray ink. I did add a little bit of Seal so that I could adhere my paper just in case I needed to stamp again. Once you have the Seal down, touch the tape several times to remove some of the sticky. That way you can get your card stock up without tearing the paper. Once stamped, use the Tasteful Textile Embossing Folder to add interest. Glue to the front of the card.

Use the Stitched Shapes largest circle to cut a circle from Vellum card stock. The Layering Circles dies have a coordinating scalloped circle. Cut from Silver Foil.

Cut the largest detailed butterfly from Seaside Spray using the Brilliant Wings dies. Add the butterfly to the vellum down the center of the body. Lift up the wings. Now adhere the vellum to the silver foil. Turn over the vellum and put the adhesive down the butterfly body. Now you won't see the adhesive on the vellum. Add the foil layer to the front of the card with dimensionals.

Add a bow of the twine from the Flowers For Every Season Ribbon Combo pack. Use a rolled up glue dot.

The saying for this card is from the Friendly Flamingo stamp set. Stamp in Versamark, add Silver Emboss Powder, and heat. Use the Classic Label Punch to cut this out. Add with dimensionals.

For the inside, the saying is again from Friendly Flamingo. Add another butterfly cut from the Brilliant Wings dies.
