Well Suited Comfort & Hope

Welcome to the Create with Connie and Mary Thursday Challenge #653. This week we have a sketch.

I decided to use the Well Suited Designer Series Paper for my card. Since the colors are chose are muted, I felt this would make a good sympathy card. We hate to need these, but they are a fact of life.

My card base is Thick Basic White measuring 4 1/4 x 11, score and fold at 5 1/2. Place the fold at the left.

The paisley paper from the Well Suited DSP is so pretty. I used it to cover the entire front of the card. Cut to 4 1/4 x 5 1/2. I do think there is some directionality to this paper. I made the paisleys go up and down.

Use the Stitched Rectangles for the panels. There are 4 dies set by themselves. Use the second largest of those. Add with dimensionals. Start with the far left. Add the others using dimensionals and glue. Add glue where the panels overlap and the paper is already elevated.

Stamp the flower spray from the Forever Blossoms stamp set on Thick Basic White. Stamp in Smoky Slate ink. Color with the Petal Pink Combo and the Soft Sea Foam Combo of blends. Cut out with the Cherry Blossoms dies. Glue across the panels.

The saying is from the Comfort & Hope stamp set. Stamp in Basic Gray ink. Trim around and glue to the panels. You might need a dimensional at the far right.

Add some of the Elegant Faceted Gems on the card front.

For the inside of the card, the saying is from Comfort & Hope in Basic Gray. Add a strip of the designer paper 3/4 x 5 1/2. Stamp the single flower and double leaf in Smokey Slate and color, cut out, and glue to the inside of the card on the paper strip.
