Sweet Ice Cream Bundle Sketch

Happy Thursday! Today the Create with Connie and Mary Thursday Challenge #655 is a sketch. I chose to use the Sweet Ice Cream bundle.

With the Ice Cream Corner Designer Series Paper, this card was a snap. There are so many great products that go with this bundle. Check out the Ice Cream Corner Suite on pages 48-49 of the Jan-June Mini Catalog. Here's my card.

My card starts with a base of Blackberry Bliss 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 and folded at 4 1/4.

Cut three strips of the paper from the Ice Cream Corner Designer Series Paper measuring 1 1/2 x 4. Glue to the card front at angles to add some interest.

The diagonal print paper from the same pack is cut to 2 1/2 x 5 1/2. Glue down the center of the front of the card.

Use the Ice Cream Builder Punch to make your ice cream cone. It's punched using papers from the Ice Cream Corner DSP. The ice cream is actually punched from the same paper as the strips. I just thought of this but you could punch them from the center of the strips if you wish. The center piece would cover up the holes and it would save paper. I did try to make sure there was enough difference in color to show up. Add the ice cream pieces with dimensionals. I just love the paper that looks like the cone!

Stamp the saying on Basic White scrap in Blackberry Bliss ink. Trim around the saying. Add with a dab of glue in the center and dimensionals on each side.

Add tiny dabs of glue to each scoop of ice cream and add the Ice Cream Corner Sprinkles. You must have sprinkles!

For the inside of the card stamp the saying from the Sweet Ice Cream stamp set in Blackberry Bliss. Punch out more ice cream parts and build another cone.
