Free Tutorial Friday with the Flowering Cactus Product Medley

The Flowering Cactus Product Medley is on pages 8 and 9 in the Jan-June Mini Catalog.  A medley contains all you need to make great cards except adhesive.  For this medley you get a 15 piece photopolymer stamps set, 48 sheets of 6 x 6 designer paper 8 each of 6 double sided designs, die-cut felt sheets, linen thread combo pack, 10 yards each of Calypso Coral and natural twine, and a 10 piece Flowering Cactus dies.  Take a look and you'll see how beautiful it all is together!

Supplies:

Stamp Sets: Flowering Cactus Product Medley (154559)

Cardstock: Basic White (159276), Crumb Cake (120953), Mossy Meadow (133676), Calypso Coral (122925)

Ink: Memento Black (132708), Mint Macaron (147106), Mossy Meadow (147111), Daffodil Delight (147094), Calypso Coral (147101)

Tools & Accessories: Flowering Cactus Dies (included), Layering Circles Dies (151770), Painted Texture Embossing Folder (154317), Calypso Coral Twine (included), Blended Brushes (153611), Sponge Daubers (133733)

Designer Paper: Flowering Cactus (included)

Misc: Seal Adhesive (152813), Stampin’ Dimensionals (104430), Multipurpose Glue (110744)

 

Measurements:

Card Base: Mossy Meadow: 5-1/2 x 8-1/2

Cardstock #2: Crumb Cake: 4 x 5-1/4

Cardstock #3: Basic White: 3 x 3 (circle), 2-1/4 x 2-1/4 (stamping)

Cardstock #4: Calypso Coral: 1 x 1

Designer Paper: 2 x 4 (standing cactus), 1 x 2-1/2 (Pear Pizzazz print), Calypso Coral Flowers

 

Instructions:

Mossy Meadow c/s: 5-1/2 x 8-1/2, score at 4-1/4 and fold to form base card.

Crumb Cake c/s: 4 x 5-1/4, emboss with Painted Texture Embossing Folder.

Flowering Cactus DSP: 2 x 4, adhere to right side of Crumb Cake layer.

Calypso Coral Twine: 24”, wrap around Crumb Cake several times and tie a bow. Adhere Crumb Cake layer to base card.

Basic White c/s: 3 x 3, cut 2-3/4 Layering Circle with Die. Use Blending Brushes to blend on Daffodil Delight and Calypso Coral Inks. Stamp greeting with Memento Black Ink. Add to front.

Pear Pizzazz Cactus DSP print, 1 x 2-1/2: Cut tall cactus from DSP with Die. Add to front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Basic White c/s, 2-1/4 x 2-1/4, Ink rounded cactus with Mint Macaron Ink, then sponge Mossy Meadow Ink along one edge. Stamp on Basic White cardstock, cut with coordinating Die. Add to front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Calypso Coral c/s: 1 x 1, cut trio of star flowers, add to cacti with Multipurpose Glue.

Calypso Coral flower DSP: cut small and medium flower from DSP. Add to front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
