Color Fusers Blog Hop for March 2021

Welcome to the Color Fusers Blog Hop for March. We are using the colors Seaside Spray, Gray Granite, and Early Espresso. You might have just come from Gail. If so, wow! If you are just beginning please visit everyone!

These colors are beautiful together, but I must confess that I had a hard time with them. I think I came up with a beautiful card.

Start with a card base of Thick Basic White 4 1/4 x 11, score and fold at 5 1/2.

The Gray Granite background is cut from the In Good Taste Designer Series Paper. Cut it to fit the front of the card at 4 1/4 x 5 1/2.

The next layer of Early Espresso is 3 3/8 x 4 5/8. The Seaside Spray layer is from the Sand & Sea Designer Series Paper. Cut it to 3 1/2 x 4 3/4.

Stamp the saying from Friendly Flamingo in Early Espresso. Set it up on the Stamparatus to get a good dark image since you can stamp it more than once.

Make the flowers using the Poppy Moments dies. Cut 2 of the solid flowers and 4 of the detailed flowers from Basic White card stock. Use a sponge dauber to add a little bit of Seaside Spray ink to the solid flowers. Add just a tease of color. Crumple up the detailed flowers and straighten a little add to the flower by gluing the center only. Add 2 of these per flower a little askew. Do this for both flowers. The centers are cut using the same dies from the In Good Taste DSP.

Cut three leaf stems from Early Espresso.

Assemble and glue.

Add the layer with dimensionals.

Here's the inside of the card. The saying is from the Friendly Flamingo stamp set. Add an additional leaf stem.
