Hello to you today! I'm going to be taking a step back this week. I have a new granddaughter and it's family time. This week you'll get a free tutorial on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday. We'll have a new card on Thursday with the Create with Connie and Mary Thursday Challenge. I will not have my Tuesday newsletter and I will not have my Facebook Live on Wednesday. Hopefully we'll get back to normal next week.
I have a beautiful card for you using the Art Gallery bundle. I did not create this card.
This is so pretty with the acetate and the gold leafing. Here are all the details.
Art Gallery Bundle
Stamp Sets: Art Gallery #154421
Cardstock: Seaside Spray, Pear Pizzazz (scrap) Basic White Thick +white scrap
Ink: Seaside Spray, Old Olive
Tools & Accessories: Gilded Leafing #154560, Tear and Tape, Die Cut and Embossing Machine, Stitched Shapes Dies: #152323, Floral Gallery Dies #154316, Stampin’ Dimensionals, adhesive of choice, small scissors for fussy cutting, lidded storage container for gilding flakes, a dry sponge
Designer Paper: Golden Garden Designer Specialty Acetate #154557
Card Base: Basic White …5 ½” x 8 ½ …Scored at 4 ¼”,
Cardstock #2: Seaside Spray 4” x 5 ¼”,
Another piece of Basic White 4” x 5 ¼”
Designer Paper #1: Geometric Design piece of acetate 4” x 5 ¼” Remember to remove the protective film on the back.
Stamp the floral cluster stamp in Old Olive on Pear Pizzazz cardstock scrap.
Clean stamp and stamp again this time using Seaside Spray on a white scrap.
Die cut both pieces with coordinating die.
Fussy cut the seaside spray flowers, trying to leave an equal white edge.
Attach the Seaside Spray cut out flowers to the Pear Pizzazz cut out…popping up the 2 largest flowers with dimensionals.
Place the piece of acetate on an equal size of white cardstock (4” x 5 ¼”)…center the oval die side to side and top to bottom and run it thru the diecut/embossing machine. I did this as a precaution so my die cutting plates wouldn’t leave marks on the acetate.
Attach 2 lines of Tear and Tape to the Seaside Spray cardstock going vertically along the left side of the cardstock.
Attach 2 more lines of Tear and Tape going horizontally across the bottom of the cardstock, overlapping across the other.
Prepare the Gilding Flakes by having a portion of them dumped out into a separate container big enough to accommodate a card front.
Remove the paper off the tape lines, place the card in the container or hold it upright in the container and press, pat, rub the flakes onto the tear and tape. Use the sponge to wipe off any excess gilding. Put the lid on it!
It’s time to assemble! Attach the Seaside piece to the white card base.
Attach a piece of tear and tape to the backside of the acetate oval on the lower right hand side of the oval…knowing it will be covered by the flowers.
Attach the flower grouping to the card using tear and tape.
You are left with a piece of acetate with an oval cut out.
Use tear and tape around all four sides of a 4 x 5 ¼” piece of Basic White cardstock,
Remove paper from the tape and gild the cardstock…
Decorate as you desire.
