NC Demo Blog Hop for January Sale-a-Bration
January 31, 2021
Welcome to the January NC Demo Blog Hop. Sale-a-Bration is already half over. I know you don't want to miss out on free product! Here's your perfect chance to see what is available. We are featuring Sale-a-Bration items on the hop. You might have just come from blog Amy's blog. You can always count on to have a great project.
Just in case you don't know, Sale-a-Bration is only for January and February. Free items are stamp sets and our always beautiful designer papers. Just to shake things up a bit, there will be a second Sale-a-Bration in July and August. I love this! Two times to Sale-a-Brate!
I think my favorite SAB item is the Berry Blessings + Berry Delightful Designer Series Paper. This is a free choice with a purchase of $100. This paper is just so pretty and it all coordinates with the Sweet Strawberry bundle from the Jan-June Mini. We are in berry happiness!
I actually have three cards to share with you today and a downloadable PDF. These cards each have a fun little fold.
Here is a list of supplies needed for all of the cards.
Supplies:
Stamp Sets: Sweet Strawberry (#154394) bundle (#156214), Berry Blessings + Berry Delightful DSP (#157613)

Ink: Blackberry Bliss(#147092), Pacific Point (#147098), Night of Navy (#147110), Garden Green (#147089), Rich Razzleberry (#147091), Poppy Parade (#147050), Memento Black (#132708)
Tools & Accessories: Stitched So Sweetly dies (#151690), Potted Succulent dies (#154330), Smoky Slate Combo Blends (#154904), Daffodil Delight Combo Blends (#154883), Granny Apple Green Combo Blends (#154885), Poppy Parade Combo Blends (#154958), Whisper White Crinkled Seam Binding (#151326), Blackberry Bliss Stripe Ribbon (#154569), Strawberry Builder Punch (#154239), Paper Snips (#103579), Sponge Dauber (#133773)
Designer Paper: Berry Delightful (listed above)
Garden Green Base 5 ½ x 8 ½, score and fold at 4 ¼. Cut off a 1 inch piece off the right front.
Strawberry DSP 3 x 5 ¼ (front of card), Poppy Grid DSP 1 ¼ x 5 ¼ (inside right)
Cut the Stitched So Sweetly dies layer from Basic White. Use the 2nd largest die.
Stamp the leaves and blooms stamp in Memento Black ink toward the bottom. Color with Granny Apple Green, Daffodil Delight, and Smoky Slate Combo Blends. Add a little of the Light Daffodil Delight on the leaves.
Stamp the saying from the Sweet Strawberry stamp set.
On separate white stamp the strawberry and topper in Memento Black. Stamp the strawberry with the solid stamp. Stamp off Poppy Parade ink. Color the topper with Granny Apple Green Combo blends. Punch out with Strawberry Builder Punch. Add to front layer.
Color a 9 inch piece of White Crinkled Seam Binding with a Dark Poppy Parade blend. Wrap this around the card. Attach behind where the white layer will cover. Color another 12 inch length of ribbon in Poppy Parade and tie into a bow.
Attach the Stitched So Sweetly layer. Be careful not to put glue where the layer overlaps the front panel.
Attach the bow with a glue dot.
Inside, the white layer is cut to 2 ¾ x 5 ¼.
The saying, in Memento Black, is from the Sweet Strawberry stamp set.
Stamp the strawberry topper in memento. Now stamp the topper on a sticky note and cut out a mask. Adhere to the topper you stamped. Now stamp the strawberry outline in Memento. Stamp the inside of the strawberry with Poppy Parade. Color in the topper with the Granny Apple Green Combo Blends.
Cut a piece of Rich Razzleberry to 4 ¼ x 5 ½. Cut an additional piece that is 3 x 8 ½, score at 4 ¼.
Cut the razzleberry paper from the Berry Delightful DSP pack. You will need 1 piece that is 2 ¾ x 5 ¼ for the center of the card and 2 pieces that are 1 x 5 ¼.
Add the two pieces of DSP for the edges of the card. Make sure that the paper is lined up so that the borders are even. Now glue the folded card stock to the front. Check to make sure that it is lined up to the top of the card and that the sides are uniform. Add the DSP to the front of the card.
Add a 9 inch piece of Blackberry Bliss Stripe Ribbon to the front.
Stamp the saying from the Berry Blessings stamp set in Blackberry Bliss on white CS. Cut this out using the Potted Succulents dies. Add over the ribbon with dimensionals.
Stamp the berries in Blackberry Bliss (outline) and stamp the inside with Rich Razzleberry. Fussy cut. Stamp the leaves (outline) in Garden Green. Stamp the inside with stamped off Garden Green. Fussy cut. Add the two together. Add to the card front with dimensionals.
For the inside, cut a piece of white that is 2 ¾ x 5 ¼.
The saying is stamped in Blackberry Bliss and is from the Sweet Strawberry stamp set.
Stamp the blackberry and leaves just as you did on the front of the card. This time just stamp them close to each other. No cutting.
Cut a Pacific Point card base of 4 ¼ x 11. Score at 5 ½ and at 6 ¼. Trim 2 ¼ inches from the right side (side with extra score).
Add adhesive to the thin area between score lines and glue down.
Use the blueberry paper from the Berry Delightful DSP. For the diagonal you will need a piece that is 5/8 x 4 1/8. You’ll also need a piece that is 2 3/8 x 4 1/8. Cut another piece 2 3/8 x 4 1/8 of the blueberry paper. They are back to back.
Thin strip goes to the far left. Blueberries are on the front. Larger diagonal paper goes on the inside right.
Tie an 18 inch piece of White Crinkled Seam Binding around the far left of the card.
Use the Stitched So Sweetly dies to cut a banner from the Pacific Point CS cut off. Use the 2nd largest.
Cut a piece of Basic White that is 2 1/8 x 3 ¼. Stamp the saying in Pacific Point. It’s from the Sweet Strawberry stamp set. Stamp the blueberries in Night of Navy ink. Stamp the inside with Pacific point. Before stamping add a little Night of Navy ink directly to the stamp with a sponge dauber. Add some leaves with stamped off Garden Green ink.
Add this label with adhesive just on one side. Label will stick out over the front edge.
Inside, the white piece measures 2 1/8 x 4 1/8. The saying in Pacific Point is from the Berry Blessings stamp set. Stamp the berries on the plant and fill in the colors.
