Kangaroo & Company with the Fine Art Floral DSP

Happy Thursday and welcome to the Create with Connie and Mary Thursday Challenge #647.  This week we have a sketch for you.

CCMC647

I'm using the Kangaroo & Company bundle and the Fine Art Gallery Designer Series Paper.  You normally would not think of these two products as going together, but I think they do.  After all, kangaroo is holding flowers!  Here is the card.

That kangaroo is too cute!  Start with a card base of Night of Navy that is 5 1/2 x 8 1/2, scored and folded at 4 1/4.

Add a piece of the gorgeous Fine Art Gallery DSP that is 3 3/4 x 5.

Next up is a rectangle of another piece of this paper.  Cut to 2 1/4 x 3 1/2.

For the center of the card, use the Layering Circles dies.  Use the largest scallop and cut out in Night of Navy.  The circle is from Petal Pink and fits right inside the scallops.  Run this circle through the Stamp & Emboss Machine with the Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder.  Glue in the center of the other layers.

Stamp the kangaroo and the flowers using Memento Black ink on Very Vanilla card stock.  Color them using the Flirty Flamingo combo, Old Olive combo, Petal Pink combo, Ivory, Crumb Cake combo, and Mango Melody combo blends.  Cut out the pieces with the Kangaroo dies.

Add to the circle.  When you cut out the kangaroo, it also cuts a slit at the pouch.  You can add the flowers to a stick like cut out so that the flowers come out of the pouch.  I did not do this however.  I just added dimensionals and added the flowers.

Stamp the saying from Art Gallery in Flirty Flamingo on a scrap of Very Vanilla.  Cut out with dies from the Floral Gallery dies.  Add the saying.  Some is glued and some has dimensionals.  You can purchase the Art Gallery bundle for a savings of 10%.

For the inside, stamp the little joey and color.  The saying is from Kangaroo & Company.

Something about this card just works.  I do like how it turned out.  Thanks so much for spending some time with me.

In Bloom Note Card Class Teaser 2 by Jo Anne Hewins

Now I would like to introduce a new class that you can get free with a $50 purchase using the Host Code U9YDQAQK.  Of course, you would not use the code should your order be over $150.  You would earn your own rewards.  This class is a card holder made from a 12 x 12 piece of patterned paper and 4 note cards with envelopes.  The class uses the Field & Flowers Designer Series Paper, a free Sale-a-Bration choice with a $50 purchase, and the In Bloom bundle.  In fact, ordering the In Bloom Bundle, at a 10% savings, for $48.50, already has you almost to $50.  Just add one more item!  Offer begins January 19th through February 28th.

You will get

A card holder already folded for you, but with a link to directions.  Papers for the folder may vary from within the Field & Flower DSP pack.

Four Note Cards & Envelopes

Paper cut and In Bloom parts cut for each card, ready to assemble.

PDF and link to a video.

IF you would like to purchase the kit, the cost will be $15 plus shipping if that applies.  Please email me at [email protected].  I'm new to the shipping thing.  I think $2 should cover that.

Should the host code end up with at least $300 in sales by Feb.28th, I'll have a drawing of those submitting orders of $50 or more on there for the Free Host Reward of the Punch Party stamp set pictured on page 17.
