Free Tutorial Tuesday Sweet Strawberry

Today I'll be sharing the Sweet Strawberry Bundle for our Free Tutorial Tuesday. This is the card that I created for the Tutorial Medley Group for January. This was a set I HAD to have because my granddaughter Sagan loves strawberries.

So here are all the details.

Supplies:

Stamp Sets: Sweet Strawberry (154394), bundle (156214)

Cardstock: Granny Apple Green (146990), Basic White (159276)

Ink: Granny Apple Green (147095), Poppy Parade (147050), Memento Black (132708), Granny Apple Green Combo (154885), Smoky Slate Combo (154904), Daffodil Delight Combo (154883)

Tools & Accessories: Strawberry Builder Punch (154239), Stitched Rectangles dies (151820), Messages dies (154422), Matte Black Dots (154284), Subtle 3D EF (151775), Foam Adhesive Strips (141825), Multipurpose Liquid Glue (110755), Mini Glue Dots (103683)

Designer Paper: N/A

Measurements:

Card Base: Granny Apple Green 5 ½ x 8 ½, score at 4 ¼

Cardstock #2: Basic White 4 x 5 ¼

Cardstock #3: Granny Apple Green 2 ½ x 4

White scraps for berries and leaves

Instructions:

Fold card base.

Stamp the leaves and blooms stamp in Memento Black on the Basic White layer. Try to place one in each corner of the layer. Color with the Granny Apple Green, Smoky Slate, and Daffodil Delight Combo Blends. Outline the leaves with dark green and then add the light. Color over the leaves with the light yellow. Color the flower centers with dark yellow and put some shadow on the flowers with the light gray.

Run the white layer through the emboss machine with the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder and adhere to the card front.

Stamp the strawberries in Memento Black ink. Stamp on Whisper White. Notice the orientation of the punch when you stamp. It might be good to use a strip of card stock. Leave a little space between each strawberry. The punch is a builder punch and has extra stuff on it. Stamp each strawberry with the solid stamp in Poppy Parade. Punch. You will need 5 strawberries.

Stamp the strawberry tops in the same way. Stamp the more solid in Granny Apple Green ink. Punch.

Add the tops to the strawberries with a glue dot.

Cut the frame from the Granny Apple Green cardstock. Use the 5^th and 7^th rectangle from the outside. Use the Foam Adhesive Strips around the outside of the frame.

Lay the frame in the center of the card without sticking to see how you want to arrange the strawberries. Glue 2 of the strawberries to the card front. Add the frame and then add the rest of the strawberries to the frame. Use the adhesive strips behind some of the berries that hand over. The strips are thicker than dimensionals.

Stamp the saying from Sweet Strawberries in Memento Black on Basic White scrap. Cut out using the Messages dies. Add to the center of the frame with Adhesive Strips.

Finish the card with some of the Matte Black Dots.
