Facebook Live 1.27.2021 Friendly Flamingo Bundle

My Facebook Live this past week showcased the Friendly Flamingo bundle.  I think I must be into animals.  I seem to be buying them all.  It just might have something to do with little Sagan.  I don't usually get into the whimsical, but I find that I'm enjoying it.  Here are the cards we made on Wednesday.

I will include the video a little later, but first we'll talk about the details.

For this cards I used several die sets.  I'll get to that.

The base is Flirty Flamingo 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 and folded at 4 1/4.

The next layer is Basic White measuring 4 x 5 1/4.  Run this through the Die Cut & Emboss Machine with the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder.

The pond and plants are cut using the Oh So Ombre Designer Series Paper.  It's one of the free choices with a $50 order during Sale-a-Bration.  Stamp the water stamp from Friendly Flamingo directly on the paper with Bermuda Bay ink.  Cut out using the Layering Ovals dies.  Glue to the card.  All the leaves are cut out using the Pierced Blooms dies.  I love all of the stitching.  Cut a few of the leaf fronds and a few leaves.  The tall stems are cut from the Flamingo dies.  Add the plants with glue dots and dimensionals.

The flamingo is of course cut with the Flamingo dies.  There are two wing dies.  Cut them both.  Glue down the flamingo and add the wing layers with dimensional.  Color one of the smallest Basic Pearls with the Dark Basic Black Blends.

The saying is from the Friendly Flamingo stamp set.  Stamp in Memento Black on a white scrap.  Punch out with the 1 1/2 inch Circle Punch.  The Flirty Flamingo circle is cut using the Layering Circle dies.  Just pick the one closest in size.  Glue on the saying to the card front.

This card begins with a Basic White Thick Card Stock 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 and scored and folded at 4 1/4.  The Flirty Flamingo layer is 4 x 5 1/4.  Stamp the flamingo over the layer in a random fashion.  Use Flirty Flamingo ink.  Then adhere to the card front.

Cut out the largest oval from Basic White card stock using the Stitched Shapes dies.  Glue to the center of the card.

Stamp the flamingo on Basic White in Flirty Flamingo.  Stamp the plants in Smoky Slate ink.  Color them using the Granny Apple Green combo, the Old Olive combo, and the Flirty Flamingo combo.  Cut both images out with the Flamingo dies.  Add with dimensionals.  For the flamingo, put glue under the legs since the plants are on dimensionals.

Stamp the saying in Old Olive.  It's from the Friendly Flamingo stamp set.

Free class with a $50 order using Host Code.  See below.

In Bloom Note Card Class Teaser 2 by Jo Anne Hewins

Now I would like to introduce a new class that you can get free with a $50 purchase using the Host Code U9YDQAQK.  Of course, you would not use the code should your order be over $150.  You would earn your own rewards.  This class is a card holder made from a 12 x 12 piece of patterned paper and 4 note cards with envelopes.  The class uses the Field & Flowers Designer Series Paper, a free Sale-a-Bration choice with a $50 purchase, and the In Bloom bundle.  In fact, ordering the In Bloom Bundle, at a 10% savings, for $48.50, already has you almost to $50.  Just add one more item!  Offer begins January 19th through February 28th.

You will get

A card holder already folded for you, but with a link to directions.  Papers for the folder may vary from within the Field & Flower DSP pack.

Four Note Cards & Envelopes

Paper cut and In Bloom parts cut for each card, ready to assemble.

PDF and link to a video.

IF you would like to purchase the kit, the cost will be $15 plus shipping if that applies.  Please email me at  I'm new to the shipping thing.  I think $2 should cover that.

Should the host code end up with at least $300 in sales by Feb.28th, I'll have a drawing of those submitting orders of $50 or more on there for the Free Host Reward of the Punch Party stamp set pictured on page 17.
