Tutorial medley Dec Warm & Toasty

So cute.  Here are all the details and directions.

Warm and Toasty

Supplies:

Stamp Sets: Warm & Toasty (152615)

Card stock: Whisper White Thick (140272),

Designer Series Paper: Feels like Frost (150444)

Window Sheets (142314)

Ink: Misty Moonlight (153118)

Tools & Accessories: Paper Trimmer (152392), Bone Folder(102300), Simply Score Tool (122334), Layering Ovals (151771), Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine (149653), Layering Circles (151770), Paper Snips (103579)

Misc : Dimensionals #104430, Liquid Glue 110755, Tear and Tape, Mini Glue Dots (103683), Bakers Twine (any that you have works, it does not show), scotch tape

Measurements:

Card Base: (2 pieces - One for the front and one for the back) cut at 6-1/4” X 5-1/2”

Card stock: Scrap Whisper White Card stock to stamp the bear

Card stock: Strip of Whisper White card stock for the sentiment 3-3/4” X 1”

Designer Paper: (1) @ 4”x 5-1/4” for the inside of the shadow box and (1) @ 4- 3/16" x 4-7/16” for the front (outside) of the card base and (2) @ 1/2” X 5-1/2” for the 1/2” panels on the front of the card, and two snowflake images from the DSP pack

Instructions:

Score both pieces of Whisper White thick CS on the 6-1/4” side at 1/2” and again at 1”. Turn and do the exact same scoring on the other end

Accordion fold those score lines on both ends of your card stock and burnish with your bone fold. Note: When you adhere these the two card bases together it creates a shadow box. DO NOT ADHERE YET.

Add the 4” X 5-1/4” piece of DSP to the center of one of the bases (this will be the back/inside of the shadow box)

Add the 3-3/16” X 4-7/16“ of DSP to the center of the other base piece. This is the front of the card

Using the largest oval in the die set, center it on to the DSP base piece and cut out your window using the Cut and Emboss Machine

Stamp the Warm & Toasty Sentiment using your Misty Moonlight ink onto the strip of card stock

Place mini glue dots onto the ends of the sentiment strip and add to the inside of the window

Cut out two snowflakes from the DSP using the circle scallop die that closes fits the image that you chose

Place bakers twine between both snowflakes adhere them together using mini glue dots and hang from the center of the window using scotch tape.

Stamp and cut out the bear using Misty Moonlight ink and your snips

Cut a strip of window sheet. You are making a handle for the bear. Using glue dots stick it to the back of the bear. The other end will attach to the back base card piece.

Add the 1/2” strips of DSP to the 1/2” ends of the front of the card, I used liquid glue for this part

On both the back base and the front base card pieces add tear and tape to the 1/2” area (both ends) and pull off the protective paper

Place your window strip handle piece that is holding your bear on the right hand side onto the tear and tape. Make sure it is lined up so you can see the bear from behind the sentiment when the card is together

If the window sheet strip is longer than needed simply snip if off after attaching it to the card base.

Adhere the front card base to the back card base

Slowly press both side in. This will cause the 1” score line to pop out and create your shadow box,

You can write your message on the back of the card

Your snowflake will dangle and your bear will move when you pull the ends of your card in and out

When pushed in and folded down on itself, this card fits into a regular size envelope
