Facebook Live: Two 3D Christmas Items with Great Tags

Hello to you today!  Today I'm sharing the two 3D items I made on my Facebook Live.   I'm mostly highlighting the tags.  So here are pictures and all the details.  If you missed my Live, I've included it with the post.  I would love for you to subscribe to my channel if you are interested.  Ring the bell for notifications.

Candy Cane Holder with Real Red Braided Trim by Jo Anne Hewins

This candy cane holder was cased from the August-December Mini catalog on page 42.  It's so easy to look right over the sample in the catalog.  This is a great cheap and quick little something just to say you are thinking of someone.

Trimming the Town Designer Series Paper:  green diagonal 3 x 4 1/2.

Whisper White:  3 x 4 1/2.

Measure one inch from each end of the patterned paper and make a mark.  Use this as a guide to use the Classic Label Punch.  Use Tear & Tape around the outside of the green paper and add to the white base.  Put in the candy cane.

Trimming the Town DSP:  tree paper 2 x 4

Whisper White 2 x 4, you'll also need a scrap for the snow approximately 1 x 2.  Add the two pieces together and punch one end with the Scallop Tag Topper Punch.  Add snow.  Cut house and tree from designer paper with the Home Together dies.  Add with dimensionals.  The saying is from the Itty Bitty Christmas stamp set.  Punch with Classic Label Punch and trim the ends.  Add with dimensionals.

Tie to the candy cane holder with the Real Red Braided Trim.  Curl ends of the trim using your Bone Folder.

The second project uses the Mosaic Gusseted Cellophane Bags from the Annual catalog.  Fill with the treat of your choice.  Mine is Santa Hats Hershey Kisses.  The bag is tied with the Real Red Sheer Ribbon.

The tag is a shaker tag made the really easy way.

Thick Whisper White:  2 pieces needed at 2 3/4 x 4 1/2, this will actually need to be a little shorter than that.  You want to be able to push the paper all the way to the end of the Clear Envelope that is found in the Annual catalog.

Stamp the snowman from Snow Wonder in Memento Black and color using the Light Real Red, Dark Pumpkin Pie, Light Pool Party, Dark Granny Apple Green, and Dark Smoky Slate Blends.  Trace around the figure with the Light Pool Party and then add snowflakes using the same stamp set.  Stamp off.

Slip the card into the clear envelope and add some of the Snowflake Sequins.  I was generous.  Cut off the extra part of the bag not needed.  Pull the bag around to the back of the card and tape shut.

Now decorate the other piece of Thick Whisper White and then adhere it to the back side covering up the yucky back.

Punch a little hole and add to the bag with some twine.  I used twine from an old Paper Pumpkin kit.
