Trimming the Town Meets the Curvy Dies
November 26, 2020
Good morning and welcome to the Create with Connie and Mary Thursday Challenge #640. Today we are using the colors Poppy Parade, Misty Moonlight, and Old Olive.
I used the Trimming the Town Designer Series Paper for my card. The paper is perfect! Here is the card.
The card base is Thick Whisper White cut to 4 1/2 x 11, score and fold at 5 1/2.
Cut 5 different patterns of paper from the Trimming the Town Designer Series Paper to measure 2 x 4 1/4. We will be covering the entire front of the card. The top layer will have no extra cuts. All of the other layers will be cut with the Curvy dies. I used the curve with all of the little circles. Be careful to have the cutting edge near the top of the paper when cutting each layer. Begin at the top and work down to the bottom of the card when gluing. Trim any extra from sides and the bottom.
Use the Old Olive ribbon from the Ornate Garden Ribbon Combo Pack to tie around the card and tie into a bow.
The saying is from the Wrapped in Christmas stamp set. Stamp in Real Red on Whisper White. Cut out using the Celebration Labels dies and add to the card with dimensionals.
For the inside of the card add another saying from Wrapped in Christmas and some more of the Trimming the Town designer paper. Cut the paper with the Curvy die.
This is a great way to use up some of your designer paper and a pretty easy card too.
