Welcome to the One Stamp at a Time Blog Hop. Our theme this month is Glad Tidings We Bring.
My card base is Thick Whisper White measuring 4 1/2 x 11, scored and folded at 5 1/2. I do love the Snowflake Splendor paper. Cut a piece the same size as the card front 4 1/4 x 5 1/2. To add a little more interest run this through the Cut & Emboss Machine with the Winter Snow Embossing Folder. Glue to the card front.
With a piece of Whisper White cut to 1 1/2 x 5 1/2, die cut with the slope die from the Home Together dies. Glue to the bottom of the card.
Stamp the snowman and the wreath from the Snow Wonder stamp set on Whisper White. Stamp in Memento Black. Color with blends in Mint Macaron Combo, Flirty Flamingo Combo, Balmy Blue Combo, and Dark Pumpkin Pie. Cut out using the Snow Time dies. Add to the card with dimensionals.
The MERRY is cut out with the Playful Alphabet dies. First cut a strip of the designer paper about 1 inch wide. Now cut a piece 1 inch wide of the Foam Adhesive Sheets. These are new this year in the Annual Catalog and a must have in every stampers stash! Pull off the backing of one side and adhere to the back of the designer paper. Cut out the letters needed. This set of dies has more than one of some of the letters. Somebody is a genius! To add the letters I used a ruler (straight edge). Line the card up on your Grid Paper and then tape a straight edge where you want the letters. Just peel off the backing of each letter and add butting the letter up against the ruler.
The word Christmas came from the Happy Christmas stamp in Snow Wonder. Stamp in Pool Party and cut out. Attach a thin strip of Pool Party card stock notched on each end. Add with dimensionals.
For my 3D item I used a package of a Ghirardelli snowman. It's perfect for this card and 3D item package! Cut a piece of the Snowflake Splendor designer paper that is 2 5/8 x 12. Put tear and tape across one end. Hold the paper near the top of the back of the package and pull the paper around to meet again in the back. There will be overlap. Peel the tear and tape backing and adhere. This actually makes a type of belly band around the package.
Stamp the snowman and color as on the card front. Add with dimensionals. Stamp the words Merry Christmas. This stamp is in the Poinsettia Petals stamp set. Because it is photopolymer it can be bent. Bent the stamp on the clear block so that it curves. Stamp in Pool Party and cut around. Use dimensionals on each end and glue in the middle to attach to the snowman.
The ribbon is from the Flowers for Every Season Ribbon Combo Pack. This was the first time I used this ribbon and I LOVE it! It is so each to work with and ties into pretty bows! I often put a glue dot under the first tie of the ribbon. It holds it in place while I actually tie the bow part.
Here's the pair together. I think someone would love getting this little treat at Christmas, don't you!
