Welcome to the Create with Connie and Mary Thursday Challenge. This week we have a sketch challenge #633.
Here is my card. I'm using the Snowflake Wishes bundle.
The Brightly Gleaming Specialty Designer Series Paper has made a reappearance this fall. It was in the Holiday Mini last fall. I'm so glad that it's back because it is beautiful and I have a great excuse to use the rest of my pack!
Start this card with a base of Thick Very Vanilla that measures 4 1/4 x 11. Score at 5 1/2 and fold.
The largest piece of designer paper is 3 x 4 1/2. Place in the center of the card front. The star paper down the left side measures 3/4 x 4. The stripe piece all the way across is 1/2 x 4 1/4. For a piece like this, I use my grid paper to help me glue it on straight. It's 2 inches from the bottom of the card.
Cut the label using the Stitched Nested Labels dies. Use Very Vanilla. Trim off the point on the left.
Stamp the saying from Wrapped in Christmas in Versamark. Cover with Gold Emboss Powder and then heat with the Heat Tool. Stamp the snowflake in Pretty Peacock. Stamp off. The saying is from the Snowflake Wishes stamp set. Add to the card with dimensionals.
Use the So Many Snowflakes dies, to cut snowflakes. Add the Adhesive Sheets on the back of the Gold Foil card stock and on the back of the Pretty Peacock card stock before cutting the snowflakes. Add the snowflakes. The gold snowflakes peeking out from the bottom was cut in half. The gold snowflake that is partially on the tag has some dimensional pieces under the part that hangs over. It's an easy card to make.
Here is the inside of the card. All of it comes from the Snowflake Wishes stamp set. Stamp the saying in Pretty Peacock. Add snowflakes. Some are stamped and some are stamped off.
I love that little pop of gold. I think it makes the card. I hope that you will try this card! Thanks for joining me today. I value your time.
