Jar of Flowers Daisies

Good morning to you today!  I'm so glad you have joined me.  I'm sharing a card made using the Jar of Flowers bundle.  This consists of the Jar of Flowers stamp set and the Jar punch.

Jar of Flowers by Jo Anne Hewins

I love daisies so that is the inspiration for my card today.

Start with a card base of Garden Green 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 and fold at 4 1/4.

The wood look paper is from the In Good Taste Designer Series Paper.   Each strip is cut at 1 1/4 x 4 3/4.  Glue a strip near the bottom of the card front at an angle.  Glue the next 2 strips with a little space between and at the same angle.

The patterned paper in the center is from the Poinsettia Place Designer Series Paper.  Cut it to 3 x 4.  That's a great measurement to use for making multiples of cards.  You'll get 12 from each 12 x 12 sheet.

For the jar, stamp it on a piece of Whisper White in Memento Black ink.  The Jar of Flowers stamp set is one of the reversible stamp sets.  Take the stamp that looks like it would be water in the jar and turn it to the smooth side.  Stamp off Pool Party ink to stamp the water.  Clean off the stamp and turn it over.  With a Basic Black Stampin' Write marker color in the two oval lines that show the water line.  Stamp at the top of the water mark.  Do this because you do not need another set of the lines that indicate a glass jar.  Stamp the stems in Memento Black making sure that you go all the way up to the top of the jar.  Color in the stems with a Light Old Olive Blend.  Punch out the jar with the Jar Punch.  Add with dimensionals.

Stamp the flower bunch in Memento Black on Whisper White.  Color in with the Light Smoky Slate, Flirty Flamingo combo, Mango Melody combo, Dark Granny Apple Green, Light Old Olive, and Light Mossy Meadow blends.  Sorry to say, but you must fussy cut the flowers.  Add with dimensionals making sure to cover the top lip of the jar.

Stamp the word HELLO in Garden Green on a scrap of Whisper White.  This stamp is from the Love of Leaves stamp set.  Cut out using the oval label from the Mini Curvy Keepsakes Box dies.  Add to the jar of flowers using a glue dot over the jar and a dimensional where it extends beyond the jar.  Add a bow of Linen Thread with a rolled up glue dot.

The sentiment on the inside is from the So Sentimental stamp set.  Stamp it in Garden Green.  Stamp the flowers in the lower right corner and color in as on the front.

The Jar of Flowers is a bundle that I haven't used very much.  I did have a card using it last week.  Find it here.

Let me also mention that the In Good Taste Designer Series Paper and the Poinsettia Place Designer Series Paper are 15% off through the end of October!

Thanks for your time today.  Have a wonderful day and I hope you stamp.

Jo Ann -- I LOVE this card! Just had to tell you it's so gorgeous. This is not a favorite stamp set of mine, for no specific reason. I haven't even considered purchasing it, but I love your coloring and the colors used here. So pretty!

P.S. I usually just browse card sites and never comment. Here you are, inspiring me to comment twice!
Thanks for continuing to share! You GO Girl!!

Angie, I'm just tickled that you have commented, especially twice. I often feel like I'm doing all the work of keeping up this blog and wonder if anyone is out there. I so appreciate your appreciation! I feel blessed!
