Flight of Fancy Witch

Welcome to the Create with Connie and Mary Thursday Challenge #634. We are using the colors Pretty Peacock, Cajun Craze, and Mango Melody.

The Flight of Fancy stamp set is so cute. It has you covered for Halloween, Christmas, and Valentines.

I'm using this set for our challenge today. The Magic in this Night Designer Series Paper is perfect for today. This pack is on sale during the month of October for 15% off. Here is my card.

I love this card so much. It will be going to my granddaughter Sagan. Don't tell her!

The card base for this card is Thick Whisper White 5 1/2 x 8 1/2, scored and folded at 4 1/4.

Cut the Pretty Peacock designer paper to 4 1/4 x 5 1/2. Glue to the front of the card base. Stamp randomly over the front the saying You're Sweet from the Banner Year. Stamp in Pretty Peacock ink. Make sure to put one of the sayings in the bottom right corner.

The stripes are cut from a Cajun Craze color of the designer paper. Cut 3/4 x 4 1/2. Cut a strip of Adhesive Foam Sheets that is 5/8 x 4 1/2. Add to the back of each designer strip. Add the first strip so that the saying down in the corner is showing. Add the next two strips with a little space between and parallel. Turn over the card front and trim the strips to fit.

Stamp the witch from Flight of Fancy on Whisper White using Memento Black ink. Color in using Ivory, Dark Mango Melody, Light Cajun Craze, Light Pretty Peacock, Light and Dark Smoky Slate, and Light Soft Suede blends. The white card stock seemed to shine to brightly after fussy cutting the image. Color it the space between the image and the cutting with a Light Smoky Slate blend. The moon is cut separately. Glue the parts to the cajun stripes.

Add a few of the Blue Adhesive Backed Gems around the card front. This card is super cute!

For the inside of the card add the saying again and stamp the witch at the bottom. Color as on the front but without the Light Smoky Slate around the outside. The inside is on a piece of 4 x 5 1/2 Whisper White since the blends would bleed through the back of the card.
