Banner Year, Tutorial Medley

Supplies:

Stamp Sets: Banner Year (153464)

Cardstock: Basic Black (121045), Thick Whisper White (140272)

Ink: Soft Suede #147115, Tuxedo Memento Black (132708), Pumpkin Pie (147086), Old Olive (147090), Pumpkin Pie Blends Combo (154897)

Tools & Accessories: Cobwebs 3D EF (153578), Tailored Tag Punch (145667), Whisper White Crinkled Seam Binding (151326), Snips (103579)

Misc: Stampin’ Dimensionals #104430, Mini Glue Dots #103683, Multipurpose Liquid Glue #110755, Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine (149653)

Measurements:

Card Base: Basic Black 4 ¼ x 11, score and fold at 5 ½

Cardstock #2: Basic Black 4 ¼ x 5 ½

Cardstock #3: Thick Whisper White 1 ½ inches wide

Instructions:

Run the 4 ¼ x 5 ½ Basic Black paper through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine with the Cobwebs 3D Embossing Folder. Glue this panel to the card front.

Color an 8 ¾ length of Whisper White Crinkled Seam Binding with a Dark Pumpkin Pie Blend. Wrap around the center of the card front securing it behind where one of the hexagons will go. Color more seam binding and make a bow to add later.

Cut Thick Whisper White to 1 ½ inch lengths. Punch with the Tailored Tag Punch. Be careful to line the paper in the punch so that it is straight and there is equal distance of empty space at each end. Hint: I had trouble with the orientation of these hexagons. It helped me to lay them out on my work space correctly as I punched them. You will need 8 of them.

Stamp hexagons. Use Soft Suede, Tuxedo Memento Black, Pumpkin Pie, and Old Olive inks. Use the Halloween stamps from Banner Year. This card has acorns, pumpkins, a sentiment, bats, cobwebs, faces with Boo, a jack-o-’lantern, and leaves.

Place these on the card front as you wish. Some of them may go off the edge. When happy add each one with dimensionals. Snip the ones that go off the edge by turning the card to the back.

Add the bow with a glue dot.
