I'll just say that I have a thing about leaves.  I'll say that I don't need that leaf set, but I always end up buying it.  It doesn't matter which leaf set.  I said the same about Love of Leaves, but then, I just admitted my problem and ordered it.  I've used it a lot and I'll reference some posts at the end of this one.  This card is simple and quick!

Love of Leaves Card by Jo Anne Hewins

This is a great card to make in multiples if you need lots!  The base is Pear Pizzazz measuring 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 and fold at 4 1/4.

The next layer is Whisper White and is cut at 4 x 5 1/4.  Stamp leaves over the surface.  I used So Saffron for the largest leaf and started stamping with this one.  The next largest leaf was stamped in Pear Pizzazz.  Fill in with another leaf in Cinnamon Cider.

Stamp the large leaf in So Saffron on Whisper White.  Stamp the saying from Love of Leaves in the center in Cinnamon Cider.  Cut this out using the largest circle in the Stitched Shapes dies.  Add the cut out with dimensionals.

Add a Linen Thread bow with a rolled up glue dot.

Here's the inside of the card.  Stamp the large leaf in So Saffron.  Add the saying in Cinnamon Cider.

Life is Beautiful One Layer Card

Hello to you today!  I'm glad you are here.  We are making a one layer card using the Life if Beautiful stamp set.  You can find this set in the August-December Mini catalog on page 51.

Life is Beautiful by Jo Anne Hewins

Here are the details.

The base of this card is Old Olive that is 5 1/2 x 8 1/2.  Fold at 4 1/4.

The one layer is from the In Good Taste Designer Series Paper.  Cut to 4 x 5 1/4.

The tree stamp is very big.  My suggestion is to use the Stamparatus to stamp it.  That seems to be the easiest.  You can also stamp again if needed.  Arrange the stamp so that you can stamp the entire tree on the designer paper.  Stamp in Early Espresso.

The leaves are stamped in Old Olive.  Stamp two times to cover the area.  Stamp again in Mossy Meadow ink.  Move the stamp so that the leaves are stamped in a different place.

Stamp the ground in Old Olive.

Life is Beautiful Close Up by Jo Anne Hewins

For the birdhouse, you will color directly on the stamp.  Use a Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker for the line.  Use a Read Red marker from the Regals Stampin' Write Markers for the bird house and birds.  Do not use the tip of the markers for this but the side of the brush tip.

Stamp the saying in Early Espresso.

Life is Beautiful Inside by Jo Anne Hewins

For the inside of the card, you will need to position the white insert in a different spot in the Stamparatus to get the tree on the right side.  Stamp the leaves and ground.  The saying is from Life is Beautiful and is stamped in Early Espresso.

Life is Beautiful Card by Jo Anne Hewins

That's it!  It's pretty simple.  The colors of the leaves and ground could easily be changed for fall.

Thanks for your visit.  I do sell Stampin' Up! and would love to help you out if you need a demonstrator!  Please let me know.  I would love to send you a catalog if you need it!

Arrange a Wreath in All 5 In Colors!

Welcome to the Create with Connie and Mary Thursday Challenge #630.  Today we are using all 5 In Colors for 2020-2022.  They are Misty Moonlight, Just Jade, Bumblebee, Cinnamon Cider, and Magenta Madness.

CCMC630

Here is my card for today.  I'm using the Arrange a Wreath bundle.

CCMC#630 5 In Colors Card by Jo Anne Hewins

Start with a card base of Misty Moonlight that measures 5 1/2 x 8 1/2.  Fold at 4 1/4.

The next layer is Whisper White cut to 4 x 5 1/4.  Run this through the brand new Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine with the Dainty Diamonds Embossing Folder.  This folder really is dainty.  I love the tiny designs.

The wreath is made using the Wreath Builder dies.  The base of the wreath has leaves of Just Jade.  If you wish, use the new Adhesive Sheets behind the card stock.  It will be so easy to adhere the wreath to the white layer.

Next work on the Magenta Madness larger flowers.  You'll need two of these.  There is also a small circle die.  Cut that out in Bumblebee.  Glue the circle behind one of the flowers.  Use a Bone Folder to curl the petals of the flowers.  Add them together a little askew with a glue dot.  Add to the wreath with several glue dots.

CCMC#630 5 Colors Close Up by Jo Anne Hewins

For the little Misty Moonlight flowers, first punch out centers.  I used a regular hole punch and the Bumblebee card stock.  Add the centers to glue dots.  Add the centers around the wreath as you wish.  The die set does have multiples (3) of these flowers.  I used 7 on the outside.  I did not use the Adhesive Sheets for this because the flowers don't lie completely flat over the centers.  Just add a little glue and place so that the centers shine through the flowers.  Note:  While you are cutting, I have three flowers inside the card!

Cut 5 of the stems in Cinnamon Cider.  Note:  There are 2 inside.  You just might want to use the Adhesive Sheets for this die also.  Add to each flower cluster.

The words are from the Arrange a Wreath stamp set.  Stamp on a white scrap and fussy cut.  Glue to the card front.

CCMC #630 Arrange a Wreath Inside by Jo Anne Hewins

Here is the inside of the card.  The saying, in Misty Moonlight is from the All Things Fabulous stamp set.  Add the flowers at the bottom left.

If you don't already have all 5 of the In Colors, you just might want to get them.  They are only here for 2 years!

I'm so glad you took a look at my blog today.  I appreciate your time and support!  Have a happy day.  I hope you'll stamp something!
