Color Fusers Blog Hop for September, 2020

Welcome to the Color Fusers Blog Hop for September.  You might have just come from Melissa's blog.  She is always so creative!  Whether you are coming from Melissa's blog or starting here, you'll love all the projects you see this month!  We are using the colors Balmy Blue, Night of Navy, and Melon Mambo.

I am using the Snowflake Wishes Bundle.  Here is my card.

Snowflake Wishes by Jo Anne Hewins

The Snowflake Splendor Designer Series Paper is so beautiful.  I didn't use it.  Instead I decided to make my own designer paper using our colors.  Use a piece of Whisper White cut to 3 3/4 x 5.  It's easier to start with the largest object when making your own background.  I started with the largest snowflake in Balmy Blue.  Stamp several of these far apart.  It's perfectly fine to have them go off of the page.  Now add some of the Night of Navy snowflakes.  The smaller snowflakes in Melon Mambo were next.  There were a few empty spots, so I filled them in with the snowflake cluster in stamped off Night of Navy.

The card base is Night of Navy measuring 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 and scored and folded at 4 1/4.

The next layer is Melon Mambo cut to 3 7/8 x 5 1/8.

Glue the white layer to the mambo layer.

Color a length of the Whisper White Crinkled Seam Binding with a Dark Balmy Blue Blend.  This goes across the card layers and is secured to the back.  Color enough ribbon to make a bow.  I used a bow maker to do this.  We'll add the bow later.

Stamp the saying from Snowflake Wishes in Night of Navy on Thick Whisper White.  Cut a label using the Celebration Labels dies.  I cut it out with the smallest die.  Add to the card with dimensionals.

Cut snowflakes using the So Many Snowflakes dies.  The largest it Melon Mambo, the middle one is Night of Navy, and the smallest is Balmy Blue.  Add the Melon Mambo one to the label.  Part will hang off.  Support that part with a mini dimensional under where the Balmy Blue snowflake will go.  Add the Night of Navy snowflake on the card front a little behind the label.

Add the bow with a glue dot.

Snowflake Wishes Inside by Jo Anne Hewins

On the inside of the card, stamp the saying from Snowflake Wishes and add more of the snowflakes.
